I've got the Epiphone Valve Jr combo. On the back of the amp there are 3 input jacks that say "4 ohm, 8ohm and 16ohm) There is a cord running out of the amp and it's plugged into the 16ohm input. what is this? First gig tonight, eek!
My new band has its first gig tonight. Never played guitar on stage before; in other bands I've always played bass. Nervous as hell! Just been out and spent £7 on batteries so no hopefully no pedal issues, at least. Just wanted to share my excitement although it's currently being overridden by the nerves!

so i dropped my '74 marshall jmp today...
so i played a gig this evening at a winery. i use a 1974 marshall jmp and a 4x12 marshall 1960 av cab with vintage 30s. when i load in and out i just place the head on top of the cab but perpendicular to it so that the feet on the bottom of the head kind of cradles the top of the cab so i can roll it in and out as a unit.…
