My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Regarding the Presonus tube preamp input! Very nice, but my "I want" with that would more be, "someone to work it for me"
I want an old 8 track tape recorder with just a couple of buttons on it! Record, rewind, play, stop.

$1200CAN. totally hand-wired. sounds amazing.
Ha, I guess that would bring new meaning to Punch in Punch out.
Imagine trying to describe the abilities of your Fire Box Tube if you had a lovely red headed girlfriend in the room... That wouldn't be awkward at all.
But the All I want thread title it's this:

Martin Mini Size 5 Terz

And if not the Terz, then it just seems right, the Santa Cruz PJ!

And yeah, just to show my true idol, beyond Ace and Mike:

But' c'mon, WHAT I WANT is to have a guitar room filled with vintage Les Pauls, but when I went down that path and found a few over $125,000 I figured that just wasn't EVAH gonna happen. So I'll just stick with the one I have, but a Tele to complement it would be nice.
But what with seeing Eddie and Stone playing those Terz's -- I been watching Larivee Parlours for the past few months for on eBay! My Martin's just too big to kickback on the couch and play all casual -- really hooked on getting a parlor guitar SOON.
"But honey ... it just followed me home!"
An American Fender Strat
An American Standard Tele
A Fender Tube amp (not sure which one yet)
A Les Paul Standard
A PRS Custom 24
The Real McCoy Custom Picture wah pedal
The Hot British Tonebone pedal
A Volume Pedal
A Mac Laptop
An acoustic with a pickup
An acoustic amp
That's a long list but if I slowly pick away I will be able to fulfill my list.

I'm building a guitar by hand that's kind of similar.
I'll post pictures when I'm finally finished with it.

Hamer are under rated and flawless... There are 3 in the studio. The necks are perfect.

I've always been more of a silver falcon guy. The new ones are built in Japan but are significantly more affordable than the originals.
given my lust for the color blue though....
http://www.gretschguitars.com/gear/index.php?product=G6120SHB&cat1=&cat2=&q=&st=1 the Setser is pretty hot, plus it would look awesome next to a Vibroking or Blond Bassman Head and cab.
Then there's the Dusey Mike Campbell http://www.duesenbergusa.com/index2.html
and this thing that totally isn't in that same vein, but I've only lusted after her forever.

Are you a lefty? that must make picking up vintage stuff you want a pain.
yes
yes, i don't have any vintage stuff at all. it's hard to find and the prices are that much higher. i have some nice, rarer guitars (rickenbackers etc.) but they're all new production.
