Eddie's version of hurt
Anyone know the tabs for how Ed played this on his solo tour. It was a pretty bad ass version, I dont know if it was just how cash's version was played though cause I know it was a lot different from Trent's (in sound, obviously Trent is piano but there was a lot more fill in eddies version)

Just Curious..........
When you guys are done jammin and using all your gear for the day or night do you put everything away neatly. Do you wrap your cables up nicely, put the amp cover back around the amp, put your pedal board lid back on the case and so on? Or do you just leave everything the way it is then next time you play you just plug in…

Did ya ever.....?
Did ya ever hold a guitar and realize that all the songs that were ever written and all the songs that are ever to be are all right there in your hands WAITING!

Probably been asked already, BUT
What type of guitar did Ed use during "Man of the Hour" on the solo tour? It was fairly small and had a much higher pitch than a normal acoustic.

Vale Rick Wright
Rick Wright from Pink Floyd passed away a few days ago. David Gilmour has a beautiful tribute in his site http://www.davidgilmour.com/. So sad. His music was so influential in my life and I treasure it.

Traynor Question
I recently borrowed a YCV40WR from a local music store for a night. Took it home and played it with my guitars and liked the sound. I heard re-tubing this amp will work wonders. Since it's self-biasing I also heard you can put EL-84 yellow jackets in it. Has anyone done this? I was thinking of getting a AC15cc but the…

OK, OK, guitar this time
Finally took a couple of pics of the new fiddle. It was a struggle to stop playing and put it down for long enough. I then got a call from a bud telling me about a backyard jamfest that was on in his valley with about 8 bands, so I went to that and saw some of best guitar playing ever. I'll start a different thread about…

Odd songs
During band practice today, I began writing a new song that's totally out of our normal sound. Are there any PJ songs which caused them to stretch their genre? I can't really think of any.

Brazilian Band! www.myspace.com/deturpe
Hey young dudes! I'm from a Brazilian band called "Deturpe" (as in http://www.myspace.com/deturpe check it out!) and after so many fuckin' hea'drops against the wall we are officialy invited to a demo release in our country... although without a recorder company supporting us yet =| And then... just then, *omfg!*, our…

I know it's odd, coming from me...but
Most of you have seen my board. I know, it's got a ton of pedals BUT, I was wondering if there was any pedal(s) you could do without or would like to add. I personally bought a Fender Blender from Monster78 a couple years ago but I rarely use it. Of course, I'm just NOW learning how to use it and add it into some original…

Bass picks
I've been told i can't complain about not having the right tone for the full length recording. This is my buddy Darren (his studio) and my own bass collection combined. http://s198.photobucket.com/albums/aa15/onelastcast76/?action=view¤t=IMG_0557.jpg From Left to Right: Two Ibanez ATK series, one on the left is…

kick out the jams
G'day, Accidentally stumbled accross the intro to this song the other day when I was messing around on my guitar. Had a look at some tabs on the internet which seem to vary a fair bit, especially MC5 v RATM versions. Anyway, I decided I want to learn it properly, because it's a cracking song, and it's wicked fun to play…

some new pedal art
i had to redo a few pedals last weekend due to a) my son b) humidity. neither of which were kind to my paper/spray glue labelling technique i was using last winter. this is my peppermill overdrive. orange and yellow spray paint, + alcohol and fire to make the top go all wonky. it kinda looks cool. the pedals got a lot of…

Sad (Lost Dogs)
Does anyone know what key Sad is in. I think it is in the key of D but I'm not sure so I thought somebody here would for sure know? In the intro what scale pattern is Stone playing? Thanks

Looping Pedals?
Hello everyone. I'm pretty much tech illiterate, so I thought I'd post on here for suggestions and such. My tale is this; I'm in a band with myself playing guitar and vocals, and my friend playing drums. We've been on and off at this for a few years, and we've both commented on the fact that we have no low-end, and have…

Wah pedal and/or amp picking up radio stations?
Ok, this is one I've never encountered..... I just moved to a new state...got my amp and pedals all set up, and noticed that when I turn on my wah, I hear a freakin radio station through my amp!! The wah in question is a Dunlop Crybaby 535Q. Anyone know how to combat this?

Low Light
Does anyone know what effect(s) Mike uses live? I know Boom has an organ and a piano but it sounds like Mike is using something like a phaser and wah but how does he get that "vintage mary-go-round" sound? I think it's spectacular.

Boom question/i hate keyboards
did Boom play on everything in 2003? am i right that he stayed on stage for every song, even ones like Animal that have absolutley no room for organ? then it seems like in 2004 on onward he is only onstage for songs that "require" organ....he is not there for every song anymore - is that right? i am in a cover band... we…

Jeff, Mike, and a few more things.
Man, I can't get over Jeff's music! Jeremy, Why Go, Low Light, Sleight of Hand, Unemployable, Nothing As It Seems...just amazing songs! There's a certain vibe with them (anyone know what I'm talking about?) and a feeling I get when I listen to them. Also, when Mike's fills and solos in these are particularly some of my…

Stone's You Are distortion
It was talked about on this board (and I can't remember the thread) that Stone changed from the Tech 21 Sansamp classic to something else in terms of distortion of the "You Are" effect. Does anyone remember what it was?

why is my amp making this noise?
OK, today I bought myself the Fender Deluxe Reverb 65 Re-issue. I brought it home and for the most part it sounds great! It was on sale for $799 at GC and I'm happy except for one problem. When I plug into the "vibrato" channels and I crank it up till I get some drive then the high frequencies have a fuzz sound. This…

I want to start playing guitar.
Im 18 and I love music, im always around my friends who play, and I have so many ideas of what would sound good and what wouldn't.. I want to play already. My friend will be teaching be, he is the most amazing guitarist I know. Better than most older men. He will be personally teaching me at his house, instead of charging…

damn intonation(*&@$^
so i was getting my new set of strings all nice and intonated, but still, I have a bit of a problem. my g string. the only string that doesn't like to keep good intonation. if i set it perfect at the 12th, i'm very sharp in the first few frets. so, i've always kind of compromised by going a bit flat at the 12th. how can i…

Tabbing out Rise
Has anyone come up with mandolin tabs for Rise? If not, and if there's sufficient interest in it, I'll write it myself. I figured out the whole song just from the EV solo shows :-)

Eddie's Mandolin
Anyone know what kind he used for his solo tour? Pics would work too if you have em :) Thanks -Seth

Fender Champion 600
So I was thinking about getting my feet wet with a tube amp. I don't need anything too big or loud so I tried out the Champion 600 and I love the sound. Other threads have recommended other amps, but does anyone have any experience good/bad with the Champion 600? Any help would be appreciated...

Mike and Jeff's old Guitars
Does anybody know what happened to that old yellow stratocaster with a maple neck that Mike has(had) and the 8 and 12 string Hamers that Jeff had?

Trouble TAB?!?
Okay, I simply cannot find a TAB for Trouble. It is for my 8-year old son, so a chord chart will not work. I have scoured the internet, and unless I am a dope, I can't find a full tab anywhere. Please help if you can! :)
