Yamaha clavinova question
I don't play one but someone I know very well does. She's got a Yamaha CLP-511 and she wants to add more instrumentation. Not knowing about that side of things, I thought perhaps a USB MIDI interface and a laptop with a VST host/ load of good plugins might do the job. But I might well be talking out of my arse. I'm a…

Wah/Rotovibe
A quesion for all of you pedal heads out there... May be a dumb question, but I'm gonna ask anyway What kind of grease (and where do you get it) do you use to put on the teeth on a crybaby or Rotovibe. I recently picked up a rotovibe off ebay and noticed the teeth were dry as a bone and it grates when you move the pedal…

Acoustic Guitar
I'm looking to pick up a new acoustic and was looking for suggestions. I don't want to spend $3K on a guitar but I do want to get something that is semi high-end. I was checking the different acoustics played by Ed, Mike, and Stone...obviously they're a little more than I want to spend but if anyone knows a good…

Fender strat re-issues
For those of you who have owned them , is there any real difference(besides the price) between a basic re-issue 1960 strat versus a Custom Shop re-issue 1960 strat ? I am considering a purchase and would appreciate the opinions of those who have played them .

backspacer cymbal setup
Anyone aware of the cymbals (diameter/name) that Matt used on the backspacer album and subsequent tour? I feel like his crahses were a bit brighter on this album, or at least the smaller one in the middle of his setup. I'm looking to duplicate that sound if anyone has the exact info...thanks.

refinishing partscaster tele
a preview of what i've been doing for a couple of weeks. body headstock back of headstock mock up with parts all i'm left with is buffing the face of the headstock and the body but i'm waiting a couple of weeks at least for the finish to harden. this was all done with hardware store level stuff so it's not perfect by any…

Pre Lawsuit Ibanez
Does anyone know if Ibanez made a Les Paul Junior copy back in their pre lawsuit days? I'm just trying to find a single p90 single or double cutaway guitar with a wrap around tail piece. I'd rather not spend a crap load either, so something off the wall is almost the route I'm looking.
