It was talked about on this board (and I can't remember the thread) that Stone changed from the Tech 21 Sansamp classic to something else in terms of distortion of the "You Are" effect. Does anyone remember what it was?

Jeffs Effects: Pretty much some chorus goes through his signal.
Our Jeff (his name is Jim) pretty much does the same thing running a chorus through his signal
Mike: DL-4, and I believe he used either the blues driver or greedtone in 03 through the trentino. Now I think he just rocks the Savage for the dirty and grit.
Our Mike (Rob): Rocks the DL-4, uses some wah during the solo (535Q on the bass setting), and sends it through a marshall DSL
Hope that helps.

I got rid of the soulbender for the fulltone ultimate octave, then fed that through the phase 90, then to the univibe.
I'm using a Wilson Effects Rippah Q Wah pedal http://www.wilsoneffects.com.
I HIGHLY recommend that pedal.
Signal Chain:
Guitar ---> Zvex Fuzz Probe --> Boss TU2 --> Wilson Rippah Q Wah --> Keeley TS9DX --> Fulltone Ultimate Octave --> MXR Phase 90 --> Dunlop Univibe (with foot controller)--> TS9 --> Dan Echo --> Akai Headrush -->
A/B box -->
A) ---> ABY Box:
A: ---> Rocktron Banshee --> SM58 --> Soundboard
B: ---> Bogner Shiva 1x12 or Marshall TSL100
---> Sansamp --> Korg Electribe ---> Soundboard
Seems a little complicated but its really not.

Maybe in the studio, but definately not live. The Fender Blender hasn't been in his rig since 2000 in a live setting.

he was talking about mike's pedal.
however stone did not use a sansamp on the studio version.
neither did matt.

the sansamp is just for distortion....the effect is created by the rhythmic pattern from the drum machine. And I'm about 90% certain that on the studio version, the korg electribe was NOT what Matt used to record the pattern.
As for Mike's solo. Only Mike knows what he used. But in a live setting, he does not use the blender, and the korg electribe is used for the ease of transposing the song in a live setting.
