Suggestions on what kind Acoustic guitar to start learning.

New Guitar Day!! Fender Telecaster.....
....a black '72 Custom reissue!!! Came home from work today and got it for my 40th birthday from Mrs. Veddertown plus a cool Marshall practice amp. I've wanted this for 25 years and it's amazing to finally have one. Jet black with a maple neck and fingerboard, exactly to my spec. :)

Volume/Pan Pedal Advice
I want to get a volume/pan pedal but know nothing about them in terms of what kind (mono or stereo). I’m not really into the volume aspect so much as I’m looking to pan between my Deville and HT-40. I’m thinking about an Ernie Ball but any advice or experience would be helpful. Thanks!
