An ongoing home for Pearl Jam (and non-PJ) haiku
A lot of folks seemed to enjoy the recent haiku contest that was put on by PJ Soul. Based on that, njnancy suggested to me that there should be a place for Pearl Jam haiku, not as part of a contest, but just in general. So, here it is. Troubled souls, unite We have got our place to write So... drop the haiku!

Conversation slower than ice melting
It is so quiet but that’s the new normal now somehow I heard your thought and I was frozen on my feet I was! like usual, I thought about it and I felt it let it spread out wider, farther, drifting beyond sight it’s no wish of mine to explore the cold space so why am I drifting out to the distant reaches? But no matter…

Ocean Pulls
I don't know if this is any good or not. Haven't written anything in a while. But it's raining and I've been listening to the Flag Day soundtrack all morning. Be gentle. "Fighting the Waves"
Correct the distortions that led me past you. They have been haunting me before I even knew. As I gather the splinters that mind has forgotten; the projections stop playing through. And there is a little insight as I’m working it through. Reaching the dirty middle the way becomes unclear. At this impasse the demons and…

The Traveler
The travelers light shows the way Footsteps and wonder begin the new day a globe of sand tired eyes weep mystery and understanding is a promise to keep. Shackles of time to all men fall Then free to touch the sun Freedom of the heart Freedom of the mind The globe of sand is spilling time. Eye’s that see a legend A story…
