If you're looking for something cool and different, give these guys a listen. GA-20 is an American blues band from Boston, Massachusetts consisting of Matthew Stubbs, Cody Nilsen, and Josh Kiggans. The band is named after the guitar amplifier manufactured by Gibson from 1950 to 1961. They primarily play Chicago blues.…

I've only just got into them this year but I love their sound and their album Blue Weekend is superb! Any other Wolf Alice fans out there?? =)

Billy Strings Tour
Anyone here a Billy Strings fan. If he comes through check him out, playing mostly small venues right now. One of the top ten performers I've seen, he's legit live. If bluegrass isn't your thing I get it, but he's outstanding. Plus he does a kickass cover of In Hiding.

The Headstones
EDIT August 31/12: since I first started this thread, as many of you know, the band has reformed and are recording a new album as we speak. Can't wait to hear it and see them live again!! The Headstones were one of the most successful Canadian bands of the 90's, along with I Mother Earth, Our Lady Peace, and the Tea Party…

Pink Floyd
Well...I have been in a huge Pink Floyd phase lately. I have always been familiar with some of their more famous songs like "wish you were here" and "another brick in the wall", and I own Dark Side of the Moon, but I've never really given them a serious listen outside of that. I've been listening to "Echoes", which is…

The Rolling Stones Thread
So I see there are some other threads. But what the hell...one that will last? Why has no one been talking about the wild rumors that the boys are touring the US THIS YEAR??? I'm hearing (not in this order) San Diego LA Red Rocks Indiana Milwaukee Buffalo 14 dates, to be announced soon. Can't. Wait. Tour aside. Love this…

Tom Petty - Wildflowers - All The Rest
https://youtu.be/OKr11WGvWUo Written by Tom and Mike Campbell and recorded in 1992, but forgotten in Petty's archives until this year, "Somewhere Under Heaven" is a lost gem from one of the most profilic periods of Petty's career, during which he wrote and recorded the album that became 1994's Wildflowers. Tom Petty's…

The Pack A.D.
This is a two piece female outfit from Vancouver. I discovered them back when iTunes had their free track of the week. They have six albums and two EP's. I believe you can get them all on vinyl as well. The first two they basically ignore as though they never existed, very different from what they currently write; today…

Dave Matthews Band
Ok, so they are one of my favorite bands, but I get more shit for liking them than PJ, but my main problem is this, they are hands down one of the most talent bands I've ever heard, Dave has a genious style of playing the guitar, I've never heard anyone play like him, so I get kinda offended when my friends say, "Dave…

Rob Skinner Music (i.e. Santos)
My jaw dropped when I realized who Santos is... Why? Well... while I always loved Pearl Jam... there was a time where Coffin Break and Popsickle were my absolutely favorite bands. I still love to listen to them semi-regularly. I certainly wish there was new material. But Wow, my mind is blown that "Santos" is a musician…
