i just started trying to use megaupload to get bootlegs of pearl jam and such. once i download it, it says it doesnt have a certain program to open it with. i would pick itunes or media player, and those wont even work. what can i use to open the files with?

WTF??!! My WMP11 refuses to play avi files...
I tried to re-install it already, but it won't work... My friends can play the exactly the same file in wmp11 on a computer without installed codecpacks or other media players like winamp.... BTW, my winamp also refuses to play them...

iPod question
yeah, so i have a 30 gig iPod and love it. my girlfriend wants to get an iPod Shuffle.. my question is if i would hook her's up to my iTunes would it transfer anything over? or do i have to do that iCopy thing (which i don't know how to do but my friend does!)? or will i lose my iTunes (worst case scenerio)?

What is aiff and aac? On itunes you can convert your songs to aac. I also downloaded a program Xact to convert flac files and it converts them to aiff or wav files. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Hover over thread for preview gone
So I got a new computer at work and something I've noticed is that I can no longer hover my cursor over the title of a thread to get a preview of the first 4 or 5 lines. Is there somekind of setting I need to change in my internet options? We're still rolling with IE6 here. Thanks!
