aiff/aac?

What is aiff and aac? On itunes you can convert your songs to aac.

I also downloaded a program Xact to convert flac files and it converts them to aiff or wav files.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

aiff is apple version of a wav file which is an uncompressed music file

aac is apple's propitiatory file type.....like mp3
