Looks Like "MAYBE" Stevie Nicks & Lindsey Buckingham "MIGHT" Tour Again...
A giant billboard on Sunset Blvd. seems like an elaborate advertising campaign just to promote a reissue album. So, why not tour? They both still have their voices and Lindsey still has his looks (ouch). I predict that a Buckingham Nicks tour would be extremely successful! And, a lot of fun!

Future Islands
I had never heard these guys before, but I spent a long layover at an airport pushing repeat, repeat, repeat. They had the #1 most viewed Letterman clip 10 years ago, so they have been around a while. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5Ae-LhMIG0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlQunle406U…

Any love for Thrice?
I've been a huge fan of Thrice for ages now. Major/Minor is the best record i've heard this year so far. They are a really prolific band and evolve with every record they release. Also they are a great live band and in some ways remind me of Pearl Jam, not musically, but in their beliefs and what they stand for as a rock…

AFI
Just recently getting into this band, and didn't realize just how good they are. Ignore their looks and just listen to their music. I have bought their last 4 albums and can't get enough. Their new album is considered one of the best albums of the year. They are also huge pearl jam fans. What does everyone else think?…

Deep Sea Diver
Saw the two St Paul shows and night 1 in Chicago. No offense to Inhaler... maybe a blander version of the Strokes? But I was so impressed with Deep Sea Diver. Purchased their album, Impossible Weight... Really enjoyed them live, and a couple spins of the CD has me really impressed. My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses and…

Metal cover of Black
Hey everyone, my name is Sean and I play in the Australian metal band Heists. We recently released a cover of Pearl Jam's Black but with a heavier twist. Keen to hear what you all think. We've always been massive PJ fans and wanted to see what it would turn out like if we put our spin on it You can check it out at the link…

The Original ALICE COOPER GROUP is Back, ya'll!
That's right! The original Alice Cooper group (minus Glen Buxton, who passed away in 1996, sadly) is back with their great new album entitled "The Revenge of Alice Cooper"! It's being released on July 25th, 2025 and there are still plenty of interesting variants of the album (colored 2-LP vinyl, CD box set with t-shirt…

New band Geese - watch these guys
Geese just uploaded this to YouTube. They're a new, young and interesting band and the lead singer has a very distinct voice. They are still sort of awkward but comfortable with their music - I'm interested to see where they go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jozNouYxBBU

GYASI "Pronounced Jah-See"
Just received a handful of CDs in the mail from Gyasi - a relative newcomer who (as you can tell by his photo) is enthralled and heavily influenced by '70s' "glam rock", like Bowie, T.Rex etc. Interestingly enough, Gyasi (reportedly his real name) was born in West Virginia, and now calls Nashville home. So far, I like the…

Blondie Has a New Album Scheduled To Be Released By The End of The Year!
Will be interesting to see if it is a live album or just studio tracks Blondie already had in the can before drummer Clem Burke passed away recently. There is no way it will be new recordings without Clem - not even remotely possible.

Pō and the 4Fathers
You have to download these two songs! They're simple masterpieces! Bravo Boom & Co!

Billy Joel
So after putting it off for couple of years I finally decided to go see Billy Joel live, got tickets for Toronto for March’25. Less than a week before show got postponed for a year. Now the tour has been canceled for obvious reasons that came out today. Any one else here a fan and how good was he live? Hoping he gets…

ISO ticket Coldplay Nashville 7/22
Figured to take a shot here. I was able to obtain 4 GA for Coldplay in Nashville on 7/22 during the presale, but didn't realize I was limited to 4, so couldn't buy the 5th ticket to go with my wife and kids to the kid's first show (11, 14, 15 yrs old). I purchased GA as that is the best shot for me to get a 5th and be near…

Your favorite albums from the 70s
Picking up on Nowhere Man's 80s music thread, what are you favorite albums from the 70's? This is an interesting topic to me because I was such a huge fan of music in the 60's starting with the Beach Boys in the early 60s, loving the British Invasion (Beatles, Stone, et al), being blown away and having the doors of rock…

Filter
Anyone a Filter fan? I've been a huge fan since Hey Man Nice Shot. Their best album IMO was The Amalgamut, with Title Of Record coming in 2nd. Their last album was ok I'm just glad they toured last year and they are working on a new album due out probably next year. Suppose to sound heavier than the last one. They also had…
