Actually, I've already been in touch with Frank once or twice (that was when he mastered my band's EP). He lives in Poitiers (where I live).

I quite like what he does.

Carpenter Brut mix techno and metal. You'll understand: his music slams, his music hits, his music ton. At the helm of his own label (No Quarter Prod), the French has released this year his first album: "Leather Teeth". An album to discover during a Release Party necessarily thunderous.

After "Trilogy" - a compilation of his three EP - Carpenter Brut has just released "Leather Teeth". The producer remains true to himself here: we find in this opus sounds very retro, halfway between the world of John Carpenter and the music of Justice. Basically, a horror movie soundtrack under anabolic. Faced with the success of his creation, the artist has embarked on an international tour that will take him from Coachella to Hellfest.

"Leather Teeth" is a real concept album: we follow the misadventures of Bret Halford, a student a little loser disfigured by a failed scientific experiment that was to allow him to seduce the girl of his dreams. Faced with this situation, no other choice: he must become Leather Teeth, rock star. "Leather Teeth" is populated with 80's imagery (cheerleaders, quaterbacks, etc.). A wildlife that invades the time of a concert the oldest basketball court in the world: the YMCA of Paris.
