The mighty Slim Dunlap is gone.
This is such hard news. Slim was a great player, and really cool guy, and a latter member of our beloved The Replacements. I'm pretty busted* up about this one.R.I.P. Slim Dunlap 8/14/51 to 12/18/24 (9 days younger than me). *an appropriate wording as this is a title of a very cool Slim tune.

WNEW Firecracker 500
I was talking about this with a buddy from work today, anyone remember the top 500 countdown on WNEW that always ended on July 4th. I used to look forward to this every year, such great memories. Jesse posted this article from Rolling Stone on his Instagram page: Jesse Malin Suffered a Rare Spinal Stroke. He’s Determined to Walk and Dance Again On the last Saturday of March at New York’s Webster Hall, Jesse Malin was doing what he’s done a thousand times before: leaping off the stage and wading through a sold-out…

The Spotify Faithful Thread
This is for those of us who use and love Spotify. There is so much to discover, I thought a place where we can share our favorite playlists, our own playlists, share our new music discoveries, ask about or share little-known service features, etc etc would be fun and useful to have. This is not a thread for debating which…

Re:Bruce Springsteen Tickets
I'm reaching out here as Bruce is coming to Vancouver in Nov. and we're looking to attend but not have to mortgage the farm to do so. Haven't seen Bruce since 1988 at the Tacoma Dome. I''m reaching out here as I've learned from the PJ fanbase to wait it out for late ticket drops etc. and it's definitely a strategy that's…
