Phish

I watched their NYE MSG show from the couch last night and first, it was amazing, and it’s incredible what they can come up with after all this time. I love that I can say that about multiple bands in 2024! Phish is easily my SECOND favorite live band.

Second, and this has probably been discussed elsewhere, but why doesn’t PJ livestream their shows so we can couch tour? I don’t believe it would diminish demand for tickets given the shorter tours these days. They’ve got the capabilities and the infrastructure to deliver a high quality product. Come on PJ, take (even more of) my money please!

They already have the relationship with nugs, too. Have to think it's at least come up.

We took this year off from MSG because we're headed to Mexico at the end of the month. I love that they did a 180 from the last two years. Of course I wish I had seen it live, this is definitely one of the gags that you needed to see in person to fully appreciate the madness, but I guess most of them are like that. Even GH last year, which thank goodness I did see in person, is good but not nearly the same on video

Agree, its maddening that PJ doesn't do livetreams, considering every show is released into the world via audio anyway

Trey Anastasio's acoustic show in Boston last night was great. This was our third time seeing him - once with TAB, once backed by the Boston Pops, and last night solo acoustic. It was by far the best of the three.

Man I’m jealous I bet that was awesome. Tickets to both Greenville and Charleston near me sold out too quickly.

I think it’s been addressed before and they want that night to be an in person only live thing.

But also, for all the accusations that get thrown at the band for merch, ticket price increases, etc, (in regards to them chasing money), this is something they leave on the table which would be easy money to bilk the fanbase of, so maybe alot of things thrown at them are not as nefarious as posters make it out to be constantly.
