Big Bruce rumor at MSG during the same time the Garden is open for 2 weeks in March that we think PJ is gonna play. Had a source tell me a couple months ago “You’ll be very happy next Spring”…my dad is a huge Bruce fan.

That Quebec City local radio station interview from Martin Tremblay leaked that the tour is planned for February and March. Plans change and it has been awhile since that interview but I bet not much has changed for the band to push those dates off. I am hoping we get some news soon from the band or at the very least some arena hold rumors.

I have a grandbaby scheduled for delivery in the last week of February. Hopefully she cooperates and doesn't decide to come the same day as a rescheduled PJ date in St Louis or Nashville.

With no knowledge I would think March/April more likely than Feb/March based on the 2020 dates. Not to mention, at least in the Canadian and NY/Baltimore portion, winter travel hazards in Feb. That said I’ve got winter tires in the garage and if they want to hit Canada in Feb I’m in!

How did you end up playing with Eddie Vedder on his new solo album and live at the Ohana Fest?
I work a lot with the producer/musician Andrew Watt. He’s amazing. We did a couple of songs for Ed, and then it turned out great and we just ended up doing a whole record, which is excellent. I’ve known him forever. We took Pearl Jam on that first tour in 1991 way back when, and you know, obviously he’s an amazing musician and so fun to connect with on a musical level. We’ve played together but we’ve never recorded or done any shows. It was really fun. Easy, fast. You didn’t hear it from me, but Ed’s talking about doing [more solo tour] dates

I've been convinced for awhile now that Eddie will play shows, either PJ or solo, until the end. I think he has the hunger to play as much as he can. I cant say the same for the rest of the band. Again, I have no intel on this, its just my gut feeling. I don't think EV is the reason the band has scaled back so much over the last 5 years.

I feel like someone in the band (doesn't really matter who, but probably not Ed) doesn't want to live the touring life until the pandemic is cleared up. One-off performances (or weekend trips) are probably ok, just no night after night of bus/plane, hotel, repeat. I could see that being not so attractive at this point.

That being said, things are looking up - so I still anticipate spring.

Jeff has said before that he's not the first the guy that wants to sign up for a big tour. And that's during normal, safe times. Add in Covid and it's easy to see why there might be some hesitation.

Scaling back over the past 5 years or so might have a lot to do with their kids too. I think all of them except Jeff have had school aged kids during that time frame.

Based on Brandi Carlile's recent interview on Stern, she was saying how Mike lives in a Yurt out in the middle of nowhere, so maybe he enjoys that lifestyle, or maybe he isn't too keen on being around lots of people.

she said he has a yurt on the property he owns next to hers. he still has a house in seattle. she even said when they come he sleeps in her house most of the time.
