Help ...
Hey, I'm hoping one of you guys can help. I'm doing some reviews on Pearl Jam and I can't find out who wrote what on Vs. I've had a look at the lyrics page on this website, but it just says that the whole band wrote all of them and I know Rearviewmirror was written by Eddie alone - Can anyone fill me in or let me know…

Black - PJ's Masterpiece
I'm listening Black right now. I must admit, after hearing all those songs of Pearl Jam, I'm pretty sure that Black is Pearl Jam's greatest song in the PJ catalogue - A MASTERPIECE:D Those lyrics, the music, Mike's solo's unbelievable!! :D :D:D:D

Present Tense
My fav song because of the lyrics - reminds me to live in the here and now. As a former counsellor, I can speak volumes of the troubles people get into when we don't.

songs from TEN, 1-11 in order
Here. Something simple, yet effective, in order of songs on the cd... Now try this with the lyrics...in any order and you can have a tremendous story. From the Ten cd: "Once" I was driven to ride the wave which rose above the "evenflow" of life making me feel "alive" I asked myself "why go" my mind went "black" as I asked…

My dog walked The Long Road this morning...we had to put her down
She was so sick and in so much pain. I just sat and listened to The Long Road version by Ed, Mike and Neil, played during the Sept 11th telethon. RIP Katie.

What's on your iPod
I have 1800 songs so far on my iPod, I think it's alot, and some may think that's nothing. However, out of the 1800 songs and 20 videos, 355 songs are from PEARL JAM, various versions of songs from various live bootlegs, and 3 videos. I still have 20-24 more live cd's to install... I just think, if the bands as important…

Five Pearl Jam songs...
Alright...here's what I'd like you folks to do: Pick five PJ songs and give a paragraph or two relating them to personal experience. You can go first :)

X-posed, not really lyrics ....
Hello, I know that I can get all lyrics from the Ten Club site, but I look for the text from the x-posed - The Interview CD (bootleg?) As this is not mentioned as an official publication, I suppose that I don't find it there. Has anybody an idea where to find it? Thanks for some hints.... Maren.

Try this with a PJ song
Depending on what you do for work, you may never have expierenced it. I'm in construction and usually there's a radio playing in the distance. You cant hear the complete song / lyrics being played.... but what if Pearl Jam was singing that song, I thought to myself. So with a sound editor, I try and take 2 simular Pearl…

how to get the band to view
Maybe with all this reality stuff, PJ can do a "make our video" contest... Here's a perfect example of what I'm talking about. for the ladies, grab a tissue.... and pass this onto the band if possible..... I think it's a great piece and if you're a true fan, you'll see why. thank you. http://youtube.com/watch?v=oVERzLsej9Q

Best Place to Hear New Music
That's not a radio station or a record store. I'm listening to Interpol right now, and I found out about it when I was sitting in Cafe Ladro in the Fremont District of Seattle. In fact, I found out about Everything But the Girl there, too. What's a place that's your window into the new music (for you) world? Ooops, could…

Best Bridge?
This is pretty tough, as there are many. I think PJ's lyrics are a little like Springsteen's in that the bridges are often the best/most important/climactic part of the song - just my opinion of course. And sometimes the difference between a third verse is debatable. Anyway here's my top 3 bridges, would like to hear…

Parting Ways

Untitled
Even though it's just an intro or a segue or whatever you want to call it, i freaking love this tune. I recently got out of rehab and the line "i can go but i dont wanna go alone" really helped me realize that not only did i need myself, but i needed otherh people to support me when i needed it. You guys are awesome and…

Release video
Stupid me, I've had a Release video on Youtube, forever, and never thought to ask fans to view it from the message board. This song is dedicated to ALL PJ fans in how I think the song is meant to be, or it's meaning.. Tell me it doesnt bring a tear to your eye, or goose bumps 30 seconds in? Pass it to other members, I get…

Imaginary Heroes
Rented Imaginary Heroes (Sigourney Weaver, Emile Hirsch, Jeff Daniels & Michelle Williams) last night. Firstly want to say that I really liked it, however since the AET is closed, I won't go into that. :) My point for posting here, is that during one of the scenes (no spoilers, don't worry), someone reads an original poem:…

Daughter --> Leash --> RVM
I've seen on another thread a while back that these three songs are all about the same character. If I remember correctly, Daughter is the kid beginning to be unhappy with his life..."The shades go down.." (or something of that matter), then Leash is the kid fighting back/trying to break away (or something like that) and…
