Imaginary Heroes

Rented Imaginary Heroes (Sigourney Weaver, Emile Hirsch, Jeff Daniels & Michelle Williams) last night. Firstly want to say that I really liked it, however since the AET is closed, I won't go into that. :) My point for posting here, is that during one of the scenes (no spoilers, don't worry), someone reads an original poem:

Is there something wrong she said
Of course there is, you're still alive she said
Do I deserve to be
Is that the question
And if so, who answers
Who answers

As soon as the second line was read, my husband and I just looked at each other and smiled. Nice surprise.

(Of course I had to be sure credit was given where credit was due, and near the end of the credits during the song listings it did in fact list "Alive, written by Stone Gossard and Eddie Vedder".) :)

Even when spoken, some words are unmistakable.

  • funny how that poem is so fitting, eh.
  • just watching that movie for the first time now. totally caught off guard when that happened and had to come here to see if someone had written about it, because i didn't remember ever seeing anything on here before. it's a pretty good movie so far... off to finish it now.
