What's on your iPod

I have 1800 songs so far on my iPod, I think it's alot, and some may think that's nothing.
However, out of the 1800 songs and 20 videos, 355 songs are from PEARL JAM, various versions of songs from various live bootlegs, and 3 videos.
I still have 20-24 more live cd's to install...
I just think, if the bands as important to you, as it is me, having them to pick you up, get you going, make things happens right by your side at the push of a button is huge.
Nothing better than being able to have the band right on your hip at all times. I'm a huge fan music / lyric wise, but I'm not a freaky fan, where I know the bands middle names, birth dates, places, kids, home towns, origional last names, high school... not like some people...."not that there's anything wrong with that!"...seinfeld.
I also bought an iPod shuffle, just so I can have most everything I need from Pearl Jam accessible while I'm working.
I bought the 30g first, not thinking, it's not practical for my type of work, but it was practical in the sense, I can ditch all my cd's and store my music... but for work (construction) the shuffles, perfect. Fits in my pants pocket, tuck the wires up the inside of my shirt, and "Off I go"....in my own world, listening to the greatest band EVER!

2438 of them are Pearl Jam....can't get enough of them!
I have the 80 gig Ipod and its filled because every concert is in FLAC....which really kills me but you can't beat the quality.
When I go to the office in the morning I always put on a different concert and dabble in it throughout the day. It certainly does make the day go faster, and helps through the stressful times which come often.

I'm curious, didn't you have to install some sort of alternative iPod operating system to play the FLAC files? I remember reading something like that about a year ago when I started trying to decide which file type to buy from Basecamp.
I got scared off by the need to reconfigure the ipod... but I'm wondering if maybe I misunderstood.
So, I just put a few albums on it this morning before going out for work.
And o course, I chose PJ: Bootlegs from Antwerp & Paris, Binaural, merkinball, and benaroya.
So, 100% PJ...
2007: Copenhagen, Werchter
2009: Rotterdam, London
2010: MSG, Arras, Werchter
2012: Amsterdam, Prague, Berlin
2014: Amsterdam, Stockholm
Of course you DO NOT have to reconfigure the Ipod to play flac....what you have to do in order to get the IPOD to play your flac files is convert them to .WAV files.
What you use to convert FLAC to .WAV is a program called FLAC Frontend. A very easy program to use that doesn't take long to use.
The difference between FLAC and MP3 is noticeable on a whole new level. The normal MP3 concerts from Basecamp are 256 KBPS...which is great quality ....but listen to this. FLAC files from basecamp are 1411...and that is not a typo....1411! The only downside due to that, is the file size. The usual Pearl Jam concert can run up to 1 - 1.5 GB. But I think that with the quality your getting, these things will last your whole life.
But hit me up if your need more help!

"She fell funny"
"Klaus Daimler, 40, engineer, calm, collected, German"
I have 432 PJ songs on there, with more to add.
I don't know why I put anybody else on there because that is all I listen to.
