I'm going to DM's concert in Atlanta on September 1st. Have any of you been to one of their shows yet on this tour (or planning on going)? I just snagged a cheap lawn ticket from Live Nation for only $10.00 with no service fees!

Tribute bands
Most are pretty good. A few I remember seeing are Van Halen (Fair Warning), U2 (Rattle and Hum), DMB (I think they were called the DM Tribute B or something), Jimi (opening for Sam Kinison, back in the day), Prince (Purple Rain), Pink Floyd (Aussie version) and SRV (Chris Hiatt and Cold Shot). I know it’s sacrilegious, but…

Not many for me, but one I always play around Thanksgiving is a beautiful song called "Thanksgiving Day" by Danny & Dusty (Dan Stuart of Green on Red and Steve Wynn of The Dream Syndicate). LP inner sleeves
I like my inner sleeves sturdy and obviously printed. Not a fan of albums skimping out on the printed inner sleeves. When I pressed an album, the inner sleeves which was in a heavy paper stock, seems to have caused hairlines/scratches on the discs. Which some complained about, and didn't look too good. With some albums…

PBM inspired this thread from a post in the Britney thread my query is this so Milli Vanilli was HUGE before they got busted. why didn't the real Milli Vanilli come forward and do their thing? only thing i can figure is they did and failed... or they were contractually prohibited from doing so. i don't get how that shit…

Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes
I just wanted to dedicate a thread to this timeless classic of an album. There is no album that takes me back to my youth quite like this one does. From 1983 onward this album has been a part of my life. There is not a time period from 1983 onward where these songs were not marking my life in one way or another. I have so…
