Not a big fan of the single, but I love Ray's other stuff, and would love to see him live once. So I am eagerly awaiting the rest of the album!

His backing band this tour is my morning jacket minus Jim James. Not too shabby
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

And I think Jim James produced the album. Really enjoying the single
Maybe PJ should have Jim produce their new one

Same for me. He's coming to my hometown in June. But I have 4 PJ shows lined up and still want to see Ben Harper in April. Gahhh!

Listening to the new Ray lamontagne. Sounds like a mix of MMJ and early 70s Floyd

Really digging the new album. Three listens in and it keeps getting mo betta each time. The atmospheric sound contributes to the album's cohesiveness which plays wonderfully as a whole. The Ray/Yim pairing makes for some lush, beautiful music. Favorite track so far is Wouldn't It Make A Lovely Photograph

Hope this is just a one time thing. The show I'm going to isn't until August, but I have awesome seats and I'd be heartbroken if it was canceled.
