Church Praise band problems...
I joined my church's praise band (guitar). They've been wanting me to join for a while. I finally gave in and I wanted to. Problem is, I just don't feel the music and I don't really feel that certain connection with people when playing...it sucks...I just play the chord on the page....I don't feel the music or really get…

Any advice on USB 2.0 interfaces for PC recording?
Hey guys, my cousin has built a home studio/rehearsal space in his basement and is looking for some advice in purchasing some equipment to start recording demos onto a PC. I'm helping him pick out a new PC and we're researching the audio interfaces/mixers that are available and trying to sort through our options and keep…

Record Store Help
Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good record store in the PRovidence, RI area. I am going up there this weekend to help my friend (a fellow Ten C member) pick out a nice turntable and stereo system. Also, I know what to help him get in the turntable department but I am not as well versed in the speaker department.…

Accoustic Sound Hole Covers--"Lute Holes"
~ I like these They're accoustic guitar sound hole covers that block feedback mostly for stage performers but also allow air/sound flow. They make your guitar look better too. (My friends own this company and make the Lute Holes  ) They've got quite popular and are used by Bret Michaels, Taylor Swift, Kenny…

Don't let a cut on your hand slow you down.
For years I was vexed any time I got a cut on my hand (or a string end stab-- oh, how I hate those!) and wanted to keep playing my guitar. It was either bleed on the instrument- which frankly I'm too fussy to do- try playing with a band aid on it- awkward as hell, or stop playing all together. So when liquid bandages like…

Telecaster Single Coil Bridge to fit over humbucker route
I have a Fender Blacktop Telecaster that i bought 6 months ago on an impulse buy. She was a FSR Blacktop that came with a Gotoh type humbucker plate. The kicker and main reason i picked her up was that she came in Seafoam Pearl Green. Very solid, smooth chunky neck, and i thought, well after all, if i want to swith the…

F Chord (Update)
I am having the toughest time with the F chord. I've tried all three ways and either I'm not fastest enough switching to the chord or it doesn't sound as clear as the other chords I play. The barred F chord (barring the entire 1st fret) sounds the closest, but it still doesn't ring out how it should IMO. Any tips? Update:…

Humidifier for Acoustic Instrument Cases?
Heya -- Do you use a humidifier in your Acoustic Guitar or Ukulele cases? Just scored a beautiful new KoAloha Ukulele in Hawai'i and the store bundled a small humidifier and hard case. Reading the warranty, it's voided if I don't use one! I already have a few other ukes and acoustic guitars and recall reading many many…

My new favorite Delay
I have used tons of delays. I have two digitech digi delays and a Carbon Copy (I've had a PB&J Delay from Danelectro-2004-2006, Ibanez AD9-2008-2009, BOSS DD6-2009) on my board. I just recently borrowed my buddy's Yamaha DDS 20M and was blown away. It's a vintage pedal. I get the analog feel (with the oscillation) and the…

Help with the PJ vinyl (speakers wise)
