Hurricane Milton
Friends of mine purchased a 2nd home in Venice Florida about 3-4 months ago. I have a feeling today is not going to be a good day for them. They are up here in the Chicago suburbs right now. I have no idea when they will be able to go back down south to take a look at the damage. Heartbreaking

Klinghoffer's lawyer enters NOT GUILTY plea
"Klinghoffer was charged on Aug. 29 with vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence, a misdemeanor that can bring a maximum of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine." Yesterday a "not guilty" plea was entered. What's the legal basis/reasoning of doing this - to lessen the charges or penalties?
