That looks delicious. One of the last meals I had indoor dining in early March before lockdown was at a British restaurant. I had that exact meal. It was so good.

Got down to the market early this morning. Fresh anchovies always sell out fast.

They're velvet crabs but they look similar to blue crabs except for the light layer of hair/fur.

Is it too early for wine?

    They both look delicious ^^^

Getting the dessert out of the way today....cut up too many apples to fit in the gluten free crusts that I bought (cheated with that, Mrs FMe needs gluten free) so I ended up doing a different spin with the crumble on each one.
Normally the crust is a big part of a good apple pie but I know the crumble I made is really good (used rice flour and almond flour mixture to keep GF) and they smell very good.

Thanks.  Not a baker (at all) but think these are gonna be good.

Cut up everything and prepped most things for tomorrow.  Potatoes to peel and plop in the water this evening.

    Cutting, chopping, measuring, weighing....
    I enjoy this.

Those look great. I am deciding if I want to buy a traditional Thanksgiving meal, or just get some BBQ. Since I am not getting to be with my family, I may just forgo the traditional meal. Whatever I buy will never live up to my mom's Thanksgiving meal. She is a fabulous cook.

I promise not to get one of these though.

No TV dinners GlowGirl! Ha ha ;) BBQ sounds like a great way to go this year.
Pies look delicious F Me! I love a good crumble. I just took ours out of the oven. We used a pie crust cutter my daughter bought at an apple orchard last year. Probably should have removed it a minute earlier but it smells amazing.

Up since 4, turkey's on the smoker, coffee in hand, and the rain and lightning have finally moved out of the area. Happy Thanksgiving, all!
