Utley could very well be the MVP this year.


Its ashame we will most likely be parting ways with Rowand. He has had a fantastic year.

Yeah, at this point, it may be worth it to trade him for some pitching or prospects. You know he's not going to be here next year either way. So either we get pitching in return to help us make a run this year, or we got prospects to boost our horrible minor league system for the next few years.

Besides, as much as I like Rowand, he's having an abnormally good year, and I don't see him keeping it up over the next few years. Might as well dangle him in front of some AL teams trying to make a run.

I love reading the paper and seeing columnists write that Dontrelle Willis, Jon Garland or insert $30mil over next 3 years pitcher is available, like the Phils have the prospects/players or will spend the money to get one of these pitchers... its unbelieveable.

BTW I'll be at the game tonite.. Cole Hamels bobblehead ohhhh yeahhhhh!!!
