Its an honor to be 2nd fiddle to the Yankees, the most storied franchise in the history of sports, and believe me the gap isn't that big and closing as we speak, and as far as Shea, it certainly beats the hell out of the old Vet, the worst outdoor stadium of all time, and we have a new one on the way.

LETS GO PHILLIES!!!!!!! 1st place before the break would be great. The muts suck so heres to 1st place with 2/5 minor league pitchers in the starting rotation. Myers needs to get healthy and get back in the rotation. Pat burrell needs to just quit.

Coco is an excellent CF defensively and has a lot of speed.

I'd take him in a heartbeat over Pat the No Bat.

I agree wholeheartedly, but you have to admit that this recent little power surge has been nice. Me and a guest will also be touring Citezens Bank park on friday the 13th of july . (eww friday the 13th). Go phils beat those cards. I still say the worst player in baseball is Coco Crisp!!!!!!!!

Damn, I wonder how Johnny Damon feels about that considering Crisp is having a better year than Damon.

I'm a Phillies fan, but is there a more perfect day for 10,000 losses than Friday the 13th. Here's my prediction. Phils up 5-4 top 9 2 outs runners on 2nd and 3rd and Scott Rolen with the go ahead single and then the Phils go 1-2-3 in the 9th with Burrell striking out looking.

Is there a better script for number 10,000.

That's almost as good as the Red Sox breaking the curse on the same night of a Blue Moon and a lunar eclipse.

Here's hoping that Hamels, Moyer, Kendrick, and Eaton can throw complete games every start during the 2nd half of the season. Then we will guarantee ourselves a playoff spot.

Pat burrell is the highest paid player on our team. The problem is we can't buy him out cause his money will still count against the cap. We need to pay 3/4 of his salary and trade him for what ever we can. Hopefully some one would take a chance on a guy that another team is paying PLEASE SOMEONE TAKE A CHANCE ON HIM. J Roll is not and has never been a leadoff hitter. He's a 2 hitter who's batting leadoff because he has speed.

When he learns to work a walk once in awhile let me know. He's had one season in his career in which his on base percentage was above league average and that's really sad when you take into account that the NL OBP takes into account pitchers as well as the rest of the players.

When you bat leadoff, you have one job - to get on base and he can't do that.

I have to agree with My 2 Hands on this one Solat. Jimmy is a much better ball player all around. Defensively Jimmy is the best shortstop in the league NL ( fuck reyes ) . And offensively he can bat 1 , 2, 3 , 7, 8, 9 . He got some pop unlike coco and he might even be faster on the basepath. My vote goes to Jimmy and I consider coco a glorified bench / situational hitter at best. Ill take him to pinch hit before burrell though. sbb
