Am I the only one who sees the Myers/Lieber move as a way to showcase Lieber for a trade?? With Lieber coming out of the bullpen sporatically there was no way to drum up any interest or show that he can still be a somewhat valuable starter.

you dont move your opening day starter into the bullpen to showcase a 37 year old.
why fuck with myers? why tinker with a proven commodity that is still a work in progress? to showcase a pitcher on the downside of an average career?
no matter how you look at this it is a blunder. they have had plenty of time to shore up the bulpen, and they have had plenty of time to move leiber. and instead of signing a proven below average pitcher like eaton they could have used that $ on the bullpen, and kept lieber in the rotation?
i just dont like it, going into the season Brett Myers was supposed to be one of the young anchors on this team.
what about them? they took 2 from a bad reds team, and beat a team last night that had to travel 1500 miles for 1 game. i am glad they have won a few, and i am glad they are scoring, but i take it with a grain of salt. lets see what happens when they lock up with NY and ATL.

I was at the game last night. College night was no where near the problem people had been talking about, at least from what i saw. great energy in the stadium. great weather and a great game.

Uh, the highlight last night was not the girls, but rather the fact that Greg Dobbs has replaced David Bell as our resident Phillie/PJ fan.
He came up to bat twice with Hail, Hail playing and homered the first time it came on.

Article in today's newspaper listed music some of the Brewer players like. Damian Miller our backup catcher loves PJ. He lists WWS AND Long Road as his favorites. They play WWS when he comes up to bat in Miller Park.
