As I may speak Zennish again: Fate will decide what happens...
I'd prefer new votings with no one voting a partie because her/his mommy or daddy did....... Damn fools

Absolutely Agree...agrrhh...the waiting drove me mad...! Or drives me mad that is..

I'm getting fed up with the pointless mating dance between parties that really dont want to work together, they dont respect the choice of the people.

And another thing that bothers me is this voting. All politicians start acting like prostitutes, and just follow the lowest common denominator with a hint of their ideals and the mayority of voters stick their heads in the sand and wait to get informed the second before they cast their vote.

Well, I'm thinking CDA is the one who fucks it all up. I am starting to believe those fuck ups don't want to get any closer to SP or PvdA and aren't prepared to make concessions....

Wasnt it the same a few years back when CDA and PVDA were having discussions about forming a new gouverment? It's sad..

I kind of missed out on all the hassle as I was having parents evening and a cultural evening at the school where I work..pff..9 till 23h. days..aggrr.

But I did watch an interview with Jan Marijnissen and Pechtold. They didnt give to much information on the whole thing but I could make out of it that Verdonk had been acting like a first class biatch again and is now no longer minister of immigrations...wohooooooo PARTY in this THREAD!!!!!

Drinks free of charge!!!! Who takes care of the music?

Was a good interview btw...I agreed on everything they were saying..I am such a leftie! And proud of it..hehe ;)

  • Verdonk is still minister, but not of immigrations anymore :D Almost a secretary of state now. I rather saw her leave. SP again has more supporters after this. PVDA and CDA are losing voters again. New elections please!!!!!!

Ohhhh....I am soooo leaving this country....or this earth maybe...maybe we can start a new on mars...only good people allowed!

Hmm, new elections sound nice, but isnt that just the world upside down. Really I shouldnt be bothered, but I am becoming very frustrated with this crap.

Let's move to Canada :D They have Tulips in Ottawa! But I've heard the wine is more expensive over there, but ah, who cares?

I followed the 'whole' thing during night shift at work, I'm glad she is not resposible for the policy concerning making people leave this country any more.

Even tho I know some will not be decent particpants of our society, I know most will take every chance of a better future w/ both hands, and for just those I am happy the 2e kamer (congres?) agreed on a vote of non confidence on Verdonk!

you want what? a very liberal person in?

so who won?whos ahead in the poll?

what else is there to say about it?
  • Obi OnceObi Once Posts: 918
If you'd really wanna know u'd read some of the posts, the election was 22 november, so I dunno anout the next polls, but in a nutshell CDA (Christain Conservatives) and PvdA (Labour) are the biggest 2 and need another small party. Which from the looks of might be another Christian party: CU (who thinks very different about laws as abortion, coffeeshops and mostly what NL is 'known' for), but since they put in just a few seats, they cant expect much.

-See Obi Once and earlier posts on the first question.

-I would like a more social, but especially more thoughtfull government who do not go with whatever is popular belief (like Pim did, btw...read up on him...really!).

-The social party (SP) and party for freedom (more extreme right wing) won the most seats compared to the other years. However the CDA (christian democrats) and PVDA (workers party...liberal and social) are the two biggest. Both have lost seats compared to last year though.

-Theres not much more to say about it at the moment because we are still waiting for them to form a coalition...they are discussing who wants to collaborate with who.

I hope that answers your questions, dont mind answering more as long as you dont starting throwing b*ullsh*t AGAIN...and you know what....I am not dumb...*shrug*...

They need a 3rd small party, CU could be that few seats they need, but they have quite an anti progressive vision on some of the liberties like abortion, euthanesia and the soft drugs program which kinda defy this country. I really hope (and presume) there are good policies now around these options and i think each individual should be able to make these choices for themselves.

And I believe in these choices. I know a man who will de because all the strength in his musscles fades away over time, all his mussclesm, I believe he should have a choice whether to go thru that. I know a voulnerable girl who had an abortion because she was too young and was just starting her life. And as long as ID's are asked in coffee shops.. I'm all for these options.

Yet all systems have their flaws.. People who work in liqour stores are supposed to sort out problem cases and report them, yet they tell customers on sunday morning they better buy more because the next time they come in, later on the day, he will be back and so drunk he can hardly stand asking for more, week in & out.

Im rambling.. Anyways I'd rather see Groen Links talking with PvdA and CDA

CDA, PVDA and CU it seems....hmmm, not too happy with that.
CU sucks, they are ppl who suffer from a sincere form of the 'tunnelvision syndrome'!!!!!
They reject all the things I believe in and more....

And Balk-ellende for prime-minister again :(. I just dont want to think about it anymore, it makes me sad that they just didnt listen to what they ppl are saying and have clearly VOTED for!
I hope CU doesnt get too much room and Jan Marijnissen is able to fight off all the b*llsh*t they want to throw at us....lets get some tomatoes ready!

Wanna wish everybody here a wonderful KERSTMIS! Don't eat too much, think of the 'Voedselbanken' .....but have a great time nonetheless!

And thanks for the interest for this thread!
