Ok, food peoples.... asparagus.  If you don't like it, I get it.  I love it.  Best, to me, is steamed or grilled, with lemon.
Anyway -. Do you snap, snap and peel, or just cook it?

    Easy to see my vote....

Nice.  Snap, no peel for you.
The bread and cheese is great with it, I'm sure.

I don't peel, but that looks great.
I usually steam then dunk in ice water to keep it vibrant green. Olive oil and lemon juice my go to seasoning.
Otherwise, I just grill it on the BBQ.
Such a great tasting veg that you'll smell in the toilet for the rest of the night.

    Cliffy, holy shit!

Nice work that all looks amazing.  I imagine people were blown away that you made that spread!  Damn, man.  Gotta break down what is in the items at some point beyond the obvious ones.

Nice, Eddie....so I am alone in peeling the asparagus this far!

That looks killer. The wife whipped up some eggs with left over veggies and steak from last night. Was awesome

I just snip off the bitter ends.  Olive oil, salt, garlic powder, toss.  375F for 10 mins, broil for 2. Usually finish with a squeeze of lemon & cracked pepper or freshly grated parmesan.

That looks amazing. A few years ago I found a good recipe for slow cooker butter chicken. I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe this will inspire me.

I should have tried to get a better picture than this ....but had a handful of potatoes left and decided to make smashed potatoes to go with our lunch.
    Boiled/steamed/roasted up crispy.

One of the most ridiculously great tasting things I've made/eaten in a while.
    Potatoes....butter...oil....salt ...pepper....water.
    Sometimes simple can be better.
