    I should have tried to get a better picture than this ....but had a handful of potatoes left and decided to make smashed potatoes to go with our lunch.
    Boiled/steamed/roasted up crispy.

    One of the most ridiculously great tasting things I've made/eaten in a while.  
    Potatoes....butter...oil....salt ...pepper....water.
    Sometimes simple can be better.

    My wife is saying I’ve made it before but I don’t remember doing a roux like that. Pain in the dick. So good but so much

    Funny enough, I had Enokis in my hand in the Asian store, but put them back and went with bean sprouts.
