    I just checked the tracking on the lip stuff I sent you--says the 21st for delivery. Fuck. sorry about that. its coming direct from the company, and I guess the east coast to SLC takes longer than i thought. I hope its worth the wait.

    I forgot one other "good thing".... last week, my wife Codie was at her bookclub....she was talking with a fellow clubber who is the charge nurse at the oldest hospital in town...this lady said "he (me) needs to see T** K**!! well, guess what? T** K** IS my surgeon. the nurse says he's the best she's ever seen :mrgreen:

    I hate to hear about the crap that goes along with your treatment but it's incredible that you still manage to come here and update us after all that! I'm glad your doctor told you to quit your job. Taking care of yourself comes first.

    Maybe it's just me but it kinda gave me goosebumps to read that they played I Am Mine while you were getting therapy. Such a powerful song. :thumbup:

    On Wednesday my dad just finished 33 rounds of radiation for prostate cancer that slightly returned even though he had his prostate removed 6 or 7 years ago. He had to go 5 days a week which got a bit tiring for him (and mum)....but luckily he had no major side effects of the radiation except one day with blood in his pee. Some patients get that the entire time and a lot worse.

    Cancer fucking sucks.

    I can't wait! so far, I've tried vaseline, burt's bees, a&d, carmex, aquafor and neosporin. I've got anbesol for deadening but that's not doing any healing. the chemo guy also prescribed Triple Mix 5 - again, since it's mostly lidocaine, I think it's more of a deadener. if your stuff works, I'll consider it a miracle! :mrgreen:

    do you have an aloe vera plant? you break it open and I think it is a home remedy moisturizer.

    It's great when the techs work with you and ease your mind with some PJ. that's a staple now for me. Listeneing to PJ when I have my hours upon hours of MRI's done. Throw in some PJ and it seems like nothing to get MRI's done. Talk to your surgeon about possibly having PJ play before you go into your surgery and have it playing when you wake up. I know for me when I had my first brain surgery I asked my surgeon and my techs about this and they said ABSOLUTELY. I'll be going in for my 2nd brain surgery the monday after PJ20 and again, PJ will be playing. It's amazing what Pj music can do to a person.
