    Columbia Records/Sony Music will release the Pearl Jam Twenty soundtrack in conjunction with the film’s theatrical release. Cameron Crowe selected the track listing for the soundtrack -- making the album a true companion piece to the film.

    Published by Simon & Schuster in the U.S. and Canada and Atlantic Books in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, the Pearl Jam Twentybook is an aesthetically stunning, definitive chronicle of the band’s past two decades. The book was compiled and written by veteran music journalist and current "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" music booker, Jonathan Cohen, with Mark Wilkerson (author of “Who Are You: The Life of Pete Townshend”), designed by Pearl Jam in-house designer Regan Hagar (also the drummer for Brad and Satchel), with a foreword by Cameron Crowe.

    More information on the Pearl Jam Twenty film, book and soundtrack will be announced in the coming weeks.

    wow..I just checked. the PJ book is 40 pages longer than the U2 book. cool. this is gonna be really something.

    so we'll get the vinyl? Anyone knows something?

    the soundtrack has lots of goodies, but it also has loads of stuff that is readily available. why so many tracks from recent boots? maybe they should have just concentrated on the ones never released.

    couldnt see anything else about it....but when you click on the exclusive content to listen to blood at spotify, also says theres a bonus bootleg... anyone signed up and had a look what it is?? its not available here in new zealand...even though blood is live in auckland and people from NZ cant listen to it yet

    A store I often use for vinyl allows you to request the vinyl on their website, price TBC and date is down as 19th September but the vinyl is guaranteed to be late. As part of their notes this is what it says:

    Film soundtrack includes x29 trks across a x2 CD set & a ltd x4 Lp vinyl format, of rare & unreleased material across the bands 20 year history. Awaiting full sales notes...


    This was also down as a UK release but it looks like the vinyl will happen.

    Today another "countdown" for people in the US only. I must say I am disappointed that they don't do worldwide countdown items. It takes away the fun of counting down to PJ20 !

    Just checked on amazon.fr and they say "pre-order book now, available on the 13th".

    Got it on the 5th. Was a very nice surprise on my way back from PJ20 :D but it got me a bit confused.

    Anyway, it's just awesome !!! It's huge, beautiful, a truly great read, I'm loving every bit of it :thumbup:.

    Looking for fellow Ten Clubber(s) in Chicago to check out PJ20 documentary @ Gene Siskel Film Center. Showing a limited number of times & want to get tix for one of the nights (know some are already sold out!) Can't think of a better way to experience it then with other fanatics.
