like i said a few pages back, who's voting for rehabilitation for the serial killer torture expert who's skinning women alive to fashion purses out of their breasts???
after he is rehabilitated and released back in society maybe he can move next door to you.
i used to live up in Hyde Park N.Y., right outside of Poughkeepsie. There's a huge Mental Instituion, my last year there they let go a former teacher who kidnapped one of his students, chopped off his you know what cooked it and made the kid eat it before killing him. 30 years later, they said he was Rehabilated. The kid's family still lived in the area. i told my wife, let me run into this guy, i'm killin the M.F.er. some animals need to be put down. just because they look human doesn't mean they are.
the maniac you speak of deserves a swift bullet to the skull.

if i had a child outside playing in the yard, riding bikes with friends up and down the sidewalk and some
evil prick abducted my child and done unspeakable acts to my innocent young one, i am here to tell you that the evil prick would be better off being caught by the law than by me.
zero hesitance would be my motto.

i cannot for the life of me understand how decent people cannot understand that an evil person should be sent away to decompose in a damp box. to me it is very clear, very cut and dry. it is so simple even a primitive caveman can understand it.
decent folks = breathing.
cruel folks = no breathing.
quite simple.
what about serial rapists, serial killers, & serial child molesters?
lots of serial, serial, serial.
easy stuff... they are to be executed and sent to wherever evil goes.
when you abduct a child on christmas eve, rape them and murder them in a ditch.
you should be put to death so swiftly it would make your head spin.
no i am sorry, no nothing.
you deserve to rot in a thin wooden box.
fuck you and fuck off.
someone, somewhere has to be the badass.
and it aint that sick fuckin prick.
that sick prick is a predator and works for evil.
that is unacceptable.
i am sorry some of you have lived a cushy life of bullshit and forgiveness.
forgiveness is fine for insignificant bullshit.

what you don't understand is that you are personalizing this issue, and it can't be, because then it turns into revenge, which is not what the law is for. If you (and most people who are pro-DP) are going to try to make the point that "how would you feel if it was your (insert loved one here) that was killed, would you still agree with your anti-DP stance?". The answer is a simple "yes". Obviously, I'd want the fucker dead. But it's not up to me. And if you are going to use that argument, you have to be able to look at the flipside of it as well. How would YOU feel if it was your loved one that was on death row, possibly wrongly convicted? Would you still think your loved one is expendable for the so-called greater good? If not, then that my friend is hypocritical. If so, then that my friend makes you, well, I won't say, as I don't want another time out.chadwick wrote:i cannot for the life of me understand how decent people cannot understand that an evil person should be sent away to decompose in a damp box. to me it is very clear, very cut and dry. it is so simple even a primitive caveman can understand it.

if you want to simplify an extremely complex issue to try to make your point, then I'll simplify it for you:

prison:
one of my favorite topics.
i was born in june of 1972.
dad had been hired at the iowa state maximum penitentiary 3 months prior to my birth.
he worked there for 30 years or so.
i cannot even begin to tell you the stories i have been told.
in the 70's and early 80's dad used to come crawling home after work due to fighting convicts all day.
kicked in the nuts, beat up, and human waste thrown on him daily... pee, crap, and cum.
some convicts are great people.
others, not so much.
have any of you and your brother ever cut your girl friend's head off and played with it in the front yard?
probably not.
in prison one of these brothers shanked a dude to death whilst standing in the chow line for breakfast.
the dude he murdered was a child molester waiting in line for a cinnamon roll.
to bad they both didn't gargle up blood that morning.
but i am thrilled that one more child molester died.
what about killing a dude over a slice of cheese while in the chow line?
it's happened.for poetry through the ceiling. ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

its a pointless argument. either you believe killing is acceptable in rare situations, or you're a fundamentalist that believes in all or nothing.
if you want a more complex answer dig up one of the millions of death penalty/pacifist threads that pops up here. mine is in there somewhere.0 -

actually i feel all rapists, cold blooded killers, and child molesters should be sent off to decompose in a shallow hole some place. and not just if my children were involved either.

MrSmith wrote:what are you basing this on? religious teachings? what does it have to do with intelligence? yes, humans do have the right to kill, in extremely rare and justifiable situations.

religious teachings? HAHA. No, I'm agnostic. WHAT DOES IT HAVE TO DO WITH INTELLIGENCE? ARE YOU SERIOUS?? OH MY GOD. Highly evolved species (most humans) can and should find an alternative to ending someone's life.
There is one situation and one situation only: self defence if your life is in danger and the only way not to die is to kill the other person.
if it's a pointless argument why do you keep arguing? You say it's justifiable in "extremely rare situations" but then go on to say that all rapists and child molesters should all rot, which would make it an hourly occurence, and hardly rare. Let's just throw them all in a big rocket and send them all to the moon!
I'm not one of those people that thinks everyone can be rehabilitated. There are a lot of malfunctioning humans out there that need to be locked up. But everyone has a right to life.Gimli 1993
