PGA tour back in utah for the first time in like 60 years…didn’t exactly draw the A-list of entries…this leader board is about as familiar as a korn ferry event.
    Well it's mid October
one of these schmucks is gonna win $1.35M. could be my next door neighbor’s scruffy kid.

    Isn't he a country singer?

with that look, he could/should be.
Everyone looks like dirt bags these days.  White baseball players are the worst.  I don't know when "white trash" became cool,  but it's annoying.

This course is pretty cool. Had a work buddy who played there this summer and said it was sweet. Cool visuals

$750 for Ryder Cup tickets huh?  The greed in golf just never stops.  It's a pretty bad spectator experience too....went in 2012 at Medinah and while the atmosphere was pretty cool you barely see any actual golf.  Crazy.

Not positive. I assumed the week which wouldn’t be thhhaaaaat bad all things considered

With only four groups at one time, it seems like it would be a long day.   I went to one event that had the top 15 in the world and it was cool to see the players out there for a bit, but a half day was enough for me.

I did the presidents cup at liberty national. To me the key is to find a spot to post up and have everyone come through, then pop ahead a ways and do the same a 2nd time through

I've entered the lottery for 'The Masters' for a number of years. I've had the same hit rate for this and PJ pit tickets through their lotteries.

About to start an epic two weeks of golf with a few PJ shows mixed in down under:

Te Arai (north and south), Cape Kidnappers, Jack's Point, Kingston Heath, Victoria GC, St. Andrews Beach, Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm, Royal Melbourne West.   8 flights lugging clubs around.

Holy shit. That’s fucking awesome. Have you watched the no laying up tourist sauce from Australia this year? If not, something good to watch on the flight. A few of those courses were on it

Thanks!  I've got a few lessons in and hoping game is trending so I can shoot a respectable 90 - 95.  Will see.  Got a bunker lesson because it feels like every course is gonna be dominated by sand.

We need to talk about guide lines and such for top golf…this is not serious golf and if you are with a group, you’re probably taking 30 swings at most.

Can’t be bringing your own clubs

I have a tough time even justifying people with gloves on

We do not need to be wearing golf gear.

As I was walking into the one in NE Philly, there was a guy coming out with his own clubs, a winged foot hat and Shinnecock quarter zip. Just not acceptable

I agree. Douchebag move. Top golf is not  to be taken seriously.

Do some people use it as a driving range though?  Agree, if just going casually no reason to bring clubs.

But….people bring their own bowling balls to bowling alleys.

But going to Top Golf is not like buying a bucket of 40 or 80 balls and working on your game.  You are paying by the hour, hte balls suck, the mats suck, etc.

People bring their own balls to bowling alleys because that's where they compete.  It's also okay to bring your cue to a hall if you are playing seriously.

It’s $60+ an hour so hope no one is using it for a rage too.

Agreed on bowling alleys…that’s where you play for real.

It's completely different here  everyone takes clubs pretty much . Target practice and it's not 60 an hour here at all

Photo from my round at St Andrews Beach.  The kangaroos were everywhere.

The flies down here are terrible.  Spray doesn’t work.  You have like 10 flies buzzing around your face at all times and if you try to just ignore them and let them crawl over your face they try to get into your nose.  I probably lost three shots to those damn flies being so annoying.  Rather have 20mph winds.

Recently took a lesson at Golftec....spent four straight days at the range working on eliminating my slice then played on Monday morning. Drove it better than I ever have. No slice detected at all. Literally added about 40 yards in distance....................aaaaand have been hooked up to a tens unit since and am on day 2 of a steroid pack. Haven't had back pain this bad since my herniated disc issue a few years ago. I'm a fucking idiot, folks!

BUT....it'll all be worth it if I'm driving like this consistently in my league next year. Gonna dominate like early 2000's Tiger Woods out there lol

So the last hole on my epic NZ/Australia golf trip was a quadruple bogey at Royal Melbourne West.  Haha.    Ended with an 89 so it didn't hurt too much.  Probably would have got a bogey or double anyway for an 87 and I am not going to let one bad hole ruin a great round/memory.  Drove into a fairway bunker and my 8 iron couldn't get over the lip twice.  I should have opened the face a little more.
