That was a lot of fun to watch tonight....although I had no idea it started so early.

Yeah I don't like the announcer much at all, to be  honest.

    Tom Kim was a beast.

Shane Lowry with the ace on 7 at Pebble yesterday.  He has hole in 1s at 17 at Sawgrass, 16 at Augusta and now 7 at Pebble.  3 of the most famous par 3s in the world.  That's wild.

I got a kick out of Scottie’s reaction when he was shocked a ball he hit spun back ten feet after it landed five feet short of the cup.

I can’t imagine the game he is playing.  I am never surprised by any outcome of my shots because I don’t have expectations it will do what I want it to do.  Would be fun to be able to play the game that the pros do where they fully expect to put the ball in a yard sized landing zone.

I think Tom Kim proved you can be athletic and play golf, but don’t have to be.  If you take 40+ seconds to hit your ball after you have started your practice swings, then you are not an athlete.

From NY, wondering if anyone has golfed in any parts of Maryland. Weather in April is very hit/miss here and I have a break coming up in mid-April.
I'm seeing avg temps in the 60's down there for that time of year. Wouldnt mind a drive if it guarantees some rounds. Not looking to break the bank at crazy courses, but also, would love my 11 year old to join me for a late afternoon tee time.
if anyone has any info or reccomendations, please share!

You can spin an iron though, right?  If you pinch the ball and take a full swing, the ball should naturally spin.  What I don't know how to do is "take the spin off" like they describe.  The only way I can do that is club up and knock it down.  But if I swing full, it's spinning.

I love Bulle Rock.  Haven't played a lot of MD golf, but that's where I go when there.  It's near Aberdeen.

I used to be pretty good at my local par 3 course.

When me and a friend tried to graduate to a full course, we were thrown off by the course martial (it was a public course).

I remember being yelled at by the group behind us..."pick up the ball after 7 strokes!"

And thus ended my golfing career!

New season of Full Swing has been pretty good.  The Gary Woodland episode is really good.  Incredible that he's out there playing
