Guess the most expensive one out of todays haul?

Clue: I went here (back to my hometown) just for this album when I saw that the local record store had it, and I waited for 4 hours before the store opened to be sure that now when I had gone by train back home for it I would not miss it. ”many people have asked about it, so people will show up on saturday when I open to buy it”

The only thing I picked up so far was the Thelonious Monk.  Searching for the Charlie Parker.

Where did you go this morning?  I went to Crossroads in Stoney Point.  It's a decent store, nice owner.  If anyone is an heir to BK Records, it's probably him. God, I miss that store.

I was at Crossroads too. If you were there early I was in the Easy Street hat and Cubs jersey with Vedder on it. I like that store too. Owner is chill and knowledgeable and its not downtown with no parking. I used to work at Plan 9 in Lynchburg which was originally called Record Exchange. Plan 9 is cool but I'm sure RSD is nuts at the one here and some of the other places in town are small and I'm sure run out of the good stuff quickly.

Hey thanks.  It doesn't show available now but I they're in SF so probably not until 1.

There's also this place in the city on Lombardy. Have you been before? Online order and pickup only.

Picked up the Floyd and Greg Dulli singles. Sold out of Nick Mason, unfortunately. Almost as pumped about the free stuff. Always dig the DFH poster and I grabbed a Margo Price slipmat.

It was a live show from Brussels 63 never before released.  Sounds very good.  I don't think the Palo show was put out today.  Didn't see it.

The only thing I'm still looking for is the Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets "See Emily Play"/"Vegetable Man" release. I had it in my Newbury Comics cart, but it sold out. Hopefully Bull Moose still has it when they put their remaining stock online tomorrow.

Between Newbury and TTL, I managed to get:

The Cure -- Bloodflowers (just have to settle for a picture disc until this is repressed)
Billie Eilish -- Live at Third Man
    Elton John -- Elton John
    Judas Priest -- British Steel
The Kinks -- The Kink Kronikles
Motorhead -- "Ace of Spades"/"Dirty Love"

See if this link works. Didn't come up via a regular search for some reason.

Actually, I just got the Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets "See Emily Play"/"Vegetable Man" release off of Discogs from a shop NOT in a Covid-19 hot spot. I'll probably get a cancellation email later, but I figured it was worth a shot.

If it is canceled, I just hope that they let me know before Bull Moose releases their leftover RSD Drops online tomorrow.

Happy Record Store Day, everyone! The writing on the inside of the MC5 album was strangely appropriate to these days.

We only had one at our shop too. Luckily it was hidden on the side of a random display so everyone walked by it but I spotted it as I walked to the register. I got black crowes and spoon online.
