Fan Scrapbook for the Band
To present to Pearl Jam as a 'Thank You' from all of us for doing what they do... and creating the light... that makes each of us shine like stars :)

We will be set up at the preparties (both days Sept 21/22) with all kinds of pencils/markers/stickers/embelishments/ect. for you to 'create your special page' ON THE SPOT, or you can prepare your art/words ahead of time and just attach into the space we have reserved for you. We'll also have photo equipment/laptop/printer on site so if you want to have your 'I can't believe we're all here together and the key is only a block away and we'll be seeing/hearing/feeling PEARL JAM' soon photo to add!! (Please Note* You must have at least 1/2 Page Space to add 4x6" photo*). The scrapbook, complete with all of your messages/art/photos/love will be presented to a band member during the Tue/Sept/22nd show!

To reserve a space in the book please PM jamainiac. All $ will be collected 'day of'.

Total Pages = 42
Each Page = 13" x 9.5"

PRICES
  • FULL PAGE - 13" x 9.5" = $20.00
  • HALF PAGE - 6.5" x 9.5" = $10.00
  • QUARTER PAGE = 6.5" x 4.75" = $5.00
  • PHOTOS (Shot & Printed 'ON THE SPOT' by Us!) = $5.00 (4x6)

Above measurements are the 'entire page'. If you are creating your own art/words to paste into the book, please allow for 1/4" margins on all sides. If you have something 'extensive' in mind to add to the book... please consider creating it beforehand and bringing to add to the book, that way everyone will have time to get their stuff in.

We are discussing Ozzie's as a location for the parties.. thoughts? :)

Also.. I'd love to set up a group rate for anyone (particularly out-of-towners) interested in hitting up a bar then heading on over to "Ride the Ducks" Pearl Jam fan style if anyone's interested!:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I'm in for both nights. Never been to Ozzie's but it looks good. What I won't be doing is going on one of those duck rides...mostly just because I grew up in Seattle and don't need a tour of the city.

    Laura,

Ozzie's is a dump and it smells like Vinegar and Vomit. The service there also blows. With how many people that are probably going to show up, it might not be the best place to have it at.

Although on the plus side, we can be as rowdy as we want there probably.

What else is left up there in that area? Haven't been since the Sonics were stolen. All I remember is Peso's and that's just a meat market.

    Laura,

Ozzie's is a dump and it smells like Vinegar and Vomit. The service there also blows. With how many people that are probably going to show up, it might not be the best place to have it at.

Although on the plus side, we can be as rowdy as we want there probably.
Hola! Yah, I know what you mean about Ozzie's not being the finest smelling/looking bar in Seattle but we (some friends/volunteers and I) went down to Lower Queen Anne last Wednesday night to check it out. Ozzie's can accommodate us for both nights, has the occupancy we would need, and is super close to the Key. We were not able to find any other place that meet these criteria. The owners have embraced the benefit and have already commited 25% of food sales and $1/drink special to the charity. Any other ideas I'm cool with too...I'm Open

    Maybe Buckley's or Jabu's maybe?

If Ozzie's is prepared than it should be fine. I hope they know what they're in for. ;)

Myself + 1 will be there. Should be interesting. I don't know any of you. That means I'll probably drink too much and make an ass out of myself. All in the name of charity.

    Sounds good so far.

Team Wyoming consisting of myself and my wife are planning to attend at least one night. We dont know anyone either really, but have met a few of you at Hawaii and EV LA1 at the Opus. We are more of the spectator than participant so knock yourselves out and make an ass out of your self for our entertainment :)

I think riding the Ducks would be fun, but I'll have to check with the other half.

I´ll probably be there! Both nights. Not sure if a friend is tagging along. He will if he gets his US visa! BTW, we are 1 ticket short for seattle 2. Maybe we can find somebody w/ extra tic? Hope so.

I don't know anything about Buckley's but Jabu's would be way too small. Sucks too because my friend who is helping host is super good friends of the owners of Jabu's. We are already at about 30 RSVP's and I'd like to target about 150+ for the event for the sake of the beneficiary. Trust that Ozzie's knows what they are in for. Having heard about some of the crowd there before, I'd like to think we would be a rather tame crowd...LOL! p.s.- just called Buckley's and max occ. is 98 then called Ozzies and they are unofficially 176 per the dishwasher who couldn't find the sign by the door.
