We are down to Ozzie's and T.S. McHughs at least for top 2. I have not had a chance to visit with the McHughs owner because of crazy work and 100+ degree temperature in Seattle...sucks out here right now.

I have a buddy whose favorite expression is "let's not big deal the fuck out of this.":lol::lol:

You've more than done your homework. I vote Ozzie's. Stay cool.

There are much better beer options than the McBeer at McMennamins. I'm in Portland...we're spoiled.
McMenamins def get's my vote! St Francis School here in Bend is my Fav Mc's to hang out. Great beer, great atmosphere.

Is there a real need to rent a car for the trip? Last time I was there we had friends up from Portland that had a car, but we pretty much stayed downtown and walked. Btw is anyone else from texas making the pilgrimage?

Not sure if you all are aware, but there is a brand new rail line openned two weeks ago that goes from near Sea-Tac to Downtown Seattle. Its not "AT" the airport yet, but you take a short shuttle ride to the light rail park and ride in Tukwilla (think around 5 minute ride). The train ride is about 15 mintes i think. Then of course when you want to get to the Seattle Center, take the Monorail line from Westlake Center Mall 2nd or 3rd floor. Soo...unless you plan to venture out of the downtown area, no rental is needed. See you all at Ozzies.

    Laura,

Ozzie's is a dump and it smells like Vinegar and Vomit. The service there also blows. With how many people that are probably going to show up, it might not be the best place to have it at.

Although on the plus side, we can be as rowdy as we want there probably.

What else is left up there in that area? Haven't been since the Sonics were stolen. All I remember is Peso's and that's just a meat market.

Ozzies could actually be fun--we could take over Karoke! There is Buckleys, and Jalisco's, both are close to the Key...

the McMenemans (sp) is way small there.

Ozzie's isn't bad, but it's hit or miss.

I like the Spectator but judging by the crowds there lately I'm one of the few

(and I didn't read the whole thread cause its looooooooooong)

This is my first post. I have seen Pearl Jam a couple of times in the past but never with 10c tickets. I have 10c tickets to Seattle 1 and I am interested in the pre-party, what goes on at them? Is there a cost?
Thank you for reading & responding to this post.

Having frequent Ozzie's in the past, it's an "ok" place, only becuase I dont like too big of crowds in smaller places. Damn busy from Thursday-Saturdays. The parties are on a Monday and Tuesday where it wont be as crowded and pretty much be taking over the ENTIRE place. We will be more than satisfied with the location.

A round of applause to the people putting this together! I honestly could care less where the location is. It's all about a good time. We could party in a fucking honey bucket for all I care.
