So apparently I have a banned character in my username. The ( isn't allowed. So I'm unable to do anything to my password options or preferences until I remove my ( and my ). I had them ported over from my old pit name and they won't let me keep it. Should I remain an outlaw or succumb to the pressure from the man? :?:

Copyright Question
I’ve written commentary/research paper. A few people I have shown it to rave about it and say I should submit it all around to see if anybody wants to publish it. I’m worried that my work might get copied once it’s seen. Should I copyright it, or is that seen necessary at this point? Do all copyrights cost about $100?

Help! Dropped my external HD and now it won't work!
Ok, so my husband wants to kill me. I had the hard drive running (500 GB and full of music) and was updating ipod. Somehow, don't ask, I dropped it. Now it won't work. Everyone i talk to says i'm pretty much SOL, since it was running when i dropped it. PLEASE! any recommendations? Can this be fixed????

Please make a separate section for trading/selling posters and tickets... the main forums get clogged up with things of this nature and it can be rather annoying for people to sift through it. Thank you.

How do post pics in my thread/reply?
First off I'm not that computer savvy to begin with. I see people on this board all the time posting pics in a reply to a post and I am wondering what I need to do to make this happen. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Wireless Router
I just hooked up a wireless router and it shows me everyone in my neiborhood that has a wireless router. It shows there last name. Is this bad? Can they find out if I have one? Can they access my computer? Can I access theirs? I dont want to but am I at any security risk?

Deleted Message?
Anyone else ever get this? I've gotten 2 pm's from 2 different people in the last week. I get the email to my account, then I check this place and it says the messages have been deleted or removed by the sender. What gives?

Does anyone from 10c monitor this section?
I need to get my welcome/home page fixed. It does not allow me to see news as it is set. I can not find a way to get rid of the new water drop blue settings. The page as a default does not show me everything and I can not change it. I really wish this one thing would get some attention. Thanks for listening.

Can't change my signature anymore.
Every time i try to change it this comes up: "Please manage profile data on the main Pearl Jam site." ...and guess what? I can't edit my signature on the main site because the option isn't even there. Can anyone help? I've been going in circles for 5 minutes now.

Sorting the Setlist database...
If you go to the TOUR section, and click on "Set Lists" on the left, it brings up all of the concerts in an alphabetical list by venue. Will there be any way to sort this list by date, like on the old site? (Where it says NODE:TITLE) Say a new fan wants to look through the list and see the first show PJ played, but didn't…

Transferring iTunes library to new mac mini
I transferred my itunes library from my external hard drive to my new mac mini. Overall things went well but I have 4,000 songs (flac files) that didn't!!! Is anyone else having this problem? I know they're working on the profiles, but when my login fails to work -- I tend to worry. Can you imagine trying to buy tickets and this happening?? :shock:

logging in trouble
hey, since the new board got changed a couple days ago, I haven't been able to log in. Everytime i tried i got an error. But when I click a link from my email inbox and log in i can. Has this happened to anyone alse? Mods can you fix it? Thanks, --FrankieG

I can't manage foes and I can't edit my sig. I only have the ability to add friends, foes isn't even an option and when I click on the 'edit signature' it directs me to my profile on the Pearl Jam main site and there's no option to edit it in there. Hey-alp!!! Please :D

Friend and Foe option
When I go the manage friends section, I only seem to be able to add friends. Is there a way to add a foe? I am guessing this is equivalent to an ignore feature but I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

cookie/spyware
i have tracking cookies and spyware and nothing i try seems to fix it. ive ran spybot, malaware, avg, and avira. i even manually cleaned out my temp folders, but that never works after the fact anyways. seems i have tacoda and adbrite tracking cookies and adspy/dealhelper spyware. every time i get rid of these they keep…
