Could i get some opinions on this mp3 player?

    my wife has an older, 60 gb zen. it's been nothing but great.

    I have the green one. I LOVE it. The only issue I have had with it so far is when I play on random and I try to go forward too quickly, too many times it can freeze. Normally I just run the battery down and it is fine. It is pretty durable as it travels with me EVERYWHERE!! I have also loaded a few movies and MUCH Pearl Jam, both videos and music. I would recommend it. Plus, I love Creatives software.

    I got the 30gb on friday, downloaded my entire catalog of albums and playlists through the weekend, downloaded one album i had forgotten (yield, oops) yesterday, when i unplugged the usb the player shut off by itself and has yet to turn back on. i had for 3days and it broke. Just great! It won't turn on under any circumstance. I called the cust support and they don't understand what happened. i had to buy a $70 warranty for them to repair it. F**king great!!! what a piece of mother f**king s**t. That was a sweet two days though. F***************k!!!!

    That doesn't sound right...they normally fix it for free for three months after you buy it....they fixed a micro i had for $24. So far, I still love my Zen(s).

    I still don't understand why it broke. I unplugged it from the usb once i finished uploading my songs into it. It shut off and has yet to turn back on. What happened? Customer Support didn't give me answer, they just tried to troubleshoot.

    Did they fix it? I had one of my Zens that needed repair and in the cause they put "cosmetic error". That was BS. But it's been great ever since.

    Haven't sent it in yet, but the troubleshooting accomplished nothing. i just don't understand why it stopped working to begin with.

    I hate to say but maybe it was just a crap unit. It happens. It usually happens to me. ;)

    Probably was a crap unit. These little things seem to never comply with me. Bothers the hell out of me.

    As bad as it sounds, it helps me to know that others have shitty luck with this type of material stuff. Thanks for the responses L Jam, really helped me out.

    AWESOME, it supports DRM-WMA files so I can use the stuff I get from BearShare on it ;) I use ALOT of P2P

    I'm pretty sure of what went wrong. I never "Safely removed Hardware" before unplugging the usb. Must of burned out the battery somehow when i just pulled out the port. Pretty dumb. Never had that problem with my Sansa 1gb.

    Since USB supplies power, you should always use the Safely Remove Hardware. I burned out a little USB harddrive the same way.

    load video content onto my ipod? I know of people who load movies onto it
    and I have no idea how.

    any help would be appreciated.

    my sis has the same problem. The only videos that comply with her ipod are the videos downloaded from the itunes store.

    fuckin A, man, it allows DRM protected WMA so I can put all the files that I got off of BearShare 6 on :D

    at least a 7 day warrantee comes standard, If you're telling the the truth, you could press charges
