It’s great someone with a Canuck flag cares about the US House. What exactly are dems going to do with the House? Subpoena and investigate? Thats worked out really well for dems.

Instead of trying to identify why the party is shrinking and completely untouchable for voters in more that half the states and therefore no current path to take the senate, which means no path for future Justices on the Court. But let’s get that House!

Cool.  Ms. Watts had built an impressive network (but never made her cause digestible to enough voters to matter for her cause on Election Day) but her focus on the house says a lot about dems lack of big picture focus.

You’re so right. The House means nothing in the political system. I can’t believe anyone cares who has 50% of the branches in a bicameral system.

And of course your last paragraph points out the one immutable law in politics, business and life: you can only do one thing at a time. No way can a party try to win the House AND try “to identify why the party is shrinking”. One of the other.

The senate SHOULD be up for grabs next year. Losing those three red seats, and the dems sprinting to the AOC Bernie wing of the party, I don’t see how that’s possible. Without the senate, not sure what the dems will ever accomplish, especially since they can not shut down the govt to get their budgets thru. They will always need gop votes.

There are enough reasonable GOP votes in the senate to keep the govt functioning.

And this is neither the first or last time a party moves to the wing in the aftermath of a general election loss. It’s all so predictable. Doom and gloom until it isn’t.

Maybe you can explain why Trump declined to extend FEMA funding in NC since it’s so bad that a MD senator should be in NC rather than supporting a resident of his state whose husband is illegally detained.

Then you can explain what crime the man was convicted of, because as far as I have read, there is no crime. And if there is no crime then you can explain why you are posting bullshit here.
