Trump trails Ocasio-Cortez, Sanders in favorability polling: Gallup
President Trump trails progressive stalwarts Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in favorability polling, according to a new survey conducted by Gallup.
The poll, which was released Tuesday morning, found that among 14 prominent figures, Trump’s net favorable rating was negative 16 points, with 41 percent of respondents having a favorable view of the president and 57 percent saying the opposite. Another 2 percent had no opinion about Trump.
Ocasio-Cortez’s net favorability was negative 4 points, with 34 percent having a favorable view of her and 38 percent having an unfavorable one. About 28 percent had no opinion about her.
Former President Biden, whose public support while in office never recovered after dropping midway through his term, accumulated a negative 11 point favorable rating, placing him in the middle of the list. About 43 percent of U.S. adults had a favorable view of Biden, while 54 percent said the opposite. Another 3 percent had no opinion.
Go ahead, nominate her and watch those numbers implode. One would think people who spend a lot of time reading about politics would understand the basics of opinion polling. Americans like to say they don’t like the guy in power or the guy or gal in Congress but hey look there’s a shiny new object that I really don’t know, I like that new person. Unless you were really saying AOC could win Iowa, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida.Learn how to read and read a book.
You are literally making my argument.
We are in agreement those aoc numbers are near meaningless and it's absurd for Gallup to claim "Trump trails progressives", yet you find a way to argue and fight
Talk about being inspired by your hamas heros. You simply know no other way.0 -

AMT is becoming almost unreadable again for me....sad state of affairs. It's a good thing for some people here that the mods are busy with a new forum, ain't got time for this nonsense.hippiemom = goodness0

@Lerxst1992 and @Halifax2TheMax - could you two stop this tit-for-tat, or deal with your problems with each other in DM? You are both being childish and trying to 'gotcha' each other constantly, and my god, is it tiresome to watch.
You both have legitimate things to say, but you make discourse on here as unenjoyable as I could imagine. You seem to bring attacks towards each other into every thread, and eventually derail them.
@Kat - I apologize if I broke any rules in posting this, but I can honestly say that this beef makes this place worse.

@Kat - I apologize if I broke any rules in posting this, but I can honestly say that this beef makes this place worse.Either let members speak freely or moderate fairly according to the stated rules. And if the rules are ever fully enforced, which I don’t think we want, we would need a grace period, because to date it’s a free for all against anyone who dare speaks against liberal ideals.
you try to post here being the target of falsely accusations…genocide supporter…maga supporter…whatever the flavor of the day is.When I keep my “mouth” shut, no one cares. They only care when I fight back. That’s hypocrisy. Leftists make the same point a million times. I do that, I’m the black hand.0 -

That’s vanilla stuff quite frankly.Unless you’re the one getting called a genocide supporter twenty times a day.0
