I have no issue with people who have been infected and have natural immunity being exempt from vaccination for a time. But what is that time frame? I don't even understand, to be honest, how people who got their second shot more than 6 months ago can still be considered "fully vaccinated", when the science tells us without the booster, their immunity is very very low.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -

The vaccine has never been declared 100% effective, even with the original variant for which it was designed. But you're the one that just made the statement. So let's compare apples to apples. For someone that has been vaccinated, boosted and yet get Omicron, do you think their forward immunity is worse than said person who had Covid twice?JB16057 said:

prove that. I never once saw anywhere it said 100%. I saw upwards of 95% against the original strain. but not 100.JB16057 said:mrussel1 said:
The vaccine has never been declared 100% effective, even with the original variant for which it was designed. But you're the one that just made the statement. So let's compare apples to apples. For someone that has been vaccinated, boosted and yet get Omicron, do you think their forward immunity is worse than said person who had Covid twice?JB16057 said:

Do you believe in science? https://thehill.com/opinion/healthcare/592457-the-cdc-is-finally-recognizing-natural-immunity-legislators-should-follow"The report finally acknowledges what many have suspected for a long time — that surviving COVID-19 provides excellent natural immunity not only repeat infection but also to hospitalization and death for the delta variant of COVID-19. "Natural immunity provided better protection than vaccines for the Delta variant. Some didn't get the chance to get the vaccine before getting sick. If someone has had covid twice, I would be willing to bet their immunity is better than many of the people that are only vaccinated.
And if someone had COVID twice, that doesn't say a lot for the natural immunity they received from the first bout, does it?The vaccine WAS declared 100% effective. As for your other question, I am not a doctor so I don't know.mrna was 95% I believe for both.j&j was 70% as I recall for the single shot.at 6 months mrna dropped to about 50 to 60%boostered ups it to 98%it was seen as effective against delta too. not omicron.its probable those vaxxed who got delta were at the lower end of the efficacy range depending on time of last shot to when to contracted deltaI seem to recall mrna prevented death 100%. against the virus it was designed for. that tidbit is critical when making any argument for or against._____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

Now you say you aren't a doctor so you don't know... but two posts ago you made a statement that you were willing to bet on. Did you just lose your license to practice medicine in the last 20 minutes?0 -
