Bizarre to see the vitriol toward the band on the handling of this. The way this has unfolded has been unpredictable, with quite a lot of twists and turns. Hindsight is 20/20

    IMO:

    - Offer refunds to those who want them. If refunds are somehow contractually impossible, lift any restrictions on secondary market sales / transfers.

    - Give those who hold their tickets the OPTION to go back into the lottery to move up if they want. Some seats don't want to move up... eg, I have front row side-stage riser for Quebec City. Would rather be there than mid-floor (Which would likely be an "upgrade"), for example.

Please do NOT cancel the tour. I'd wager the VAST majority of us are cool with waiting and are glad we have our tickets.
    • We've had a year for folks to get vaxxed. Anyone still holding out are adults who have made their own bed and know the consequences.
    • Facilities have had time to get COVID screening protocols in place.
    • Healthcare providers have improved treatment protocols and we have new treatment options coming out.
    • Hospitals are generally running at comfortable capacities.

    It's time. Let's Rock.   =)

I think a lot of the frustration stems from the continued lack of communication.  Most would agree that two sentences in a 20 month stretch regarding the shows just rubs off the wrong way, especially to those who have been holding onto tickets.

If you don't feel comfortable playing yet due to COVID, then fine.  But it doesn't require any contact precautions to send out an email to ticket holders once a month or so updating them on whats going on.

Also, I do not think that 10c members will be moved.  There are god knows how many tickets that have been refunded, resold, exchanged, whatever.  The last thing they need is more tickets moving around and more transactions being performed.

I stand corrected apparently NA can be refunded. That box wasn't there last year after the initial 30 day window. Still a sham to hold out.
    So… not stealing then?
Nope. I had it wrong. Just morally questionable to keep holding out. Their choice tho
Well you’re not completely wrong.  Some of the European shows only offered future credit, not cash refunds.  As if someone traveling from another part of the world is going to have a use for a credit in a far away land.

I'm pissed about my Vienna ticket.  I've been pressing them for my money back and they won't refund until after the first of the year with no good explanation.
Did you fill out the “OE Tickets” refund form? I am considering doing that but if there’s this delay issue that would be good to know.
Yes.  The Austrian gov't passed a law saying refunds have to be issued after 1/1/2022

OE Tickets refuses to refund the money any earlier than they are required.

I'm now in the opinion of canceling the whole tour/ refund everyone and start from scratch.

If I didn't spend days hitting F5 like a monkey on crack to get Baltimore GA's, I maybe would be in agreement haha.

I hear you and totally get it.  I just don't see how they are going to line up these cities in relatively the same order and in the same venue.  Hopefully they prove me wrong.

I'm with you on that, and that's likely the delay. Has to be a complete cluster fuck trying to re-route everything.

Why do they need to do that?  Announce the tour like any other. If ticket holders can go, fine. If not, refund.

They can switch venues and “re-allocate” similar or better seats for every ticket holder.

    Out of curiosity, Why?

If you want your money back, get a refund. Easy peasy. But there's zero legitimate reason to force the majority of us who have sat on tickets for a year to give them up and go back through the hassle of another sale.

Exactly. I've got awesome tickets for the Oakland shows and will be pissed if I have to try and get them again. I've held onto them for almost 2 years. I want those shows.

Do we still think these shows are happening?  I've heard Covid in touring again.  Will the two shots be good enough for rescheduled shows in spring or do we envision additional requirements?

I agree unless they decide indoors is too risky for the foreseeable future.  In which case, give ticket holders priority access to outdoor venue tickets.

I would be pretty pissed if they cancelled current tickets and started over. I have my tix for four shows, some good and some not so much, but they are mine! Paid in full. No way I'm losing my GA san diego tix cause somebody who just dont understand they can get a refund any time if they are not happy. I am very happy to wait!
