Don’t know if this has already been posted as I have not been here in awhile but figured I’d share some tour info. My good friend has a very close connection to one of the band members so his info is always 100%.  Again, maybe this has already been posted but I’m not reading through all the pages. They are playing the Apollo and MSG 2 nights end of next year. Total of three nights i believe. I believe November. So id assume that’s inline with an east coast swing. He already has his “tickets”. I don’t want to release too much more and get someone in trouble. Just thought I’d share.
Awesome!! Thanks for the info. Would love an East coast swing in the Fall! If you get anymore info we'd love to hear it.
No problem. I will try a get more concrete info. I try not to pry too much but I’m sure I can at least get exact dates for NY and maybe ask what other cities are involved. I’ll let u know. Cheers
The MSG info alone sets up what the entire year will probably look like, very much appreciated!

Wait, so now we are thinking the east coast run is postponed to November 2022?

    Then what about this email?

Start in May and end in Nov/Dec I guess. That was a generic message sent to all.

I guess I’m still in the thinking all of the rescheduled dates will be the only shows in the spring. There’s no reason they couldn’t cross the country again in the fall with all new cities and then the NY make ups. I’m excited to find out! Let’s gooooo
  • Throw in a Kansas City date while we’re talking!

I'm not thrilled if the rescheduled dates are basically another year away. Hopefully its both May and fall.

With no Baltimore now it makes sense to have NY with the east coast tour in the fall. I would love for it to be split too but I doubt that happens.

That would be amazing. Do two separate lotteries for the potential ballpark shows and the fall tour and give it to us all at once with the May dates.

Yeah, me too. I’ll be disappointed if the east coast tour isn’t till fall.

Part of the reason I didn’t enter for the Eddie solo dates was I thought the make up dates would be in May. If they’re not till November it may have changed my mind; also thinking they were going to be March 2022, then May 2022, now fall 2022 it feels like they’re being postponed again. (I realize the earlier dates were never official)

Remember...there were supposed to be two USA tours in 2020.

    My current guess:
West-to-east in April/May 2022 with many of the same cities we already know.
Europe mid-2022. (We know those dates.)
More USA dates in November 2022.

We also know that the vast majority of people in hospitals/ICUs are unvaccinated. If you can get the vaccine, do it. You know how polio is hardly the thing it once was? What happened to the iron lungs? (Get. The. Vaccine.)

With MSG looking like its being pushed to the fall it would make no sense to me to add an east coast date and take one away that has been delayed for two years so my guess would be no.

Precedent would be 05/01 & 05/02/16 and the TOTD show they did there in the fall (that I stupidly didn't try hard enough for).
That, and Billy Joel practically lives there, and it always sells out (or close to it). More dates at MSG = more money to give away for various causes ;)
Takin' this all with a grain of salt, but definitely plausible.

You're not wrong. If things decline over the next 3-4 months, a lot of tours could be re-scheduled.

One of the things that hurts PJ here is their changing setlists. If they played the same 18-22 songs each night (maybe 2-3 occasional variations or substitute songs), and had the same generic posters at each show, then people wouldn't travel internationally.

The fact that PJ fans travel internationally...well, that's part of the reason they didn't tour this year while other bands did. Someone may travel 100-200 miles round-trip for the Foos, but how many Foo fans travel thousands of miles for 6-9 shows in a different continent?

  • This is in relation to Ontario and possibly all Canadian teams:

Spoke to infectious disease Dr. Andrew Morris about pro sports events & Omicron. He says Omicron cases doubling in Ont. every 2-3 days. Estimates 10K daily cases by Dec. 31. Predicts Ont. govt will soon have to close NHL/NBA games to fans. "Govt has no choice

That’s a sobering thought.  I also saw where certain parts of Ontario are limiting indoor gatherings to 5.  Not 5k.  5.  Glad I went to SHN and Ohana.  Hope this is just a temporary setback.

“Sources say much stronger measures were discussed with premiers and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during a Tuesday evening call. The proposed measures included whether to implement a ban on all non-essential foreign travellers into Canada, including from the United States, and stricter quarantine and testing measures for travellers who are allowed into Canada, including returning Canadians and permanent residents.“

Now thinking that there could be some tougher regulations for Canadians getting to the February Vedder dates; hopefully this is resolved before the Spring.

LOL I bought a ticket for all three nights! Figured it would be a great road trip. Wasn't enthused about Nashville's shows being at an amphitheater.
