Most of us were wrong about this early on, including both American political parties and nearly every government and health organization on earth.

But that is the reason for caution. It takes time to learn exactly what this novel virus is doing and how to develop a treatment. Splitting society at this early stage (yes, early) into “vulnerable” and non vulnerable groups for isolation where a majority of households consist of both is an strong position and far more damaging to the fabric of society than thinking humans can solve an economic depression caused by a pandemic. That’s exactly what we did for polio and if you think there are protests now, just wait to see if Dr Katz’ separation theories idolized on FOX become reality.

People will not be rushing back to restaurants, stadiums or airplanes anytime soon, no matter what the govt policy is.

There is a difference between me and you being wrong about it and the WHO being wrong about it.

It’s gonna be a boring year.

I don't like to be one of "those people" but it'll suck that they're just sitting around...maybe, hopefully, we can get something positive out of all this sitting around. Even if it's just a digital single released late this year.

I'm sure they're working on mystery boxes or some other way to dump the tour merch, but I'd hate for them to sell that stuff when money is tight. Hopefully things look good for a "merch dump" later this year.

FWIW, the Fiserv Forum and the Bucks are a client of mine in Milwaukee, and they had Pearl Jam on the list of acts that are scheduled to play the arena in September.  No specific date I can share, but I did see them listed on the schedule of events.  Remains to be seen if it actually happens...

If I was a betting man the fall tour is booked with the spring dates to follow the leg 2 dates. I bet they will sit on those dates as long as they can since they are not announced yet and if the fall is a no go like we think it will be than they move it to spring 2021 or fall 2021.

I think they had the fall tour itinerary in place, were waiting for the announcement date (maybe during or after spring tour). and of course then the spring tour (and ultimately summer leg) got postponed, so no sense announcing the held fall dates since its almost a certainty it won't happen now. Likely everything planned for 2020 will be (hopefully) shifted to a very similar routing and timing for 2021.
    This weekend we rock Portland

I agree with this.  Spring 20 to Spring 21.  Fall 20: decide in July if it proceeds or is bumped to Fall 21.

Columbus Ohio was rumored to be getting a Pearl Jam show in fall 2020, as per earlier in this thread.

I see now that the two arenas here are "rescheduling tours for early 2021."

I have no clues which tours or which dates, but any tidbit is one I'll take.

Interesting thanks for the info and I will take any tidbit of info as well. Here is to hoping early 2021 is viable.

I believe it’s Hamilton for October 1.  I wouldn’t bet on that happening though.

There's a post on Facebook saying The Pretty Reckless will be touring with Pearl Jam next year. As far as what cities, someone else may know.

Cool. We'll get to hear "Only Love Can Save Me Now" played live with Matt Cameron.

Momsen recently confirmed in a separate interview with Detroit radio station WRIF that RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE guitarist Tom Morello guests on THE PRETTY RECKLESS's upcoming album, "Death By Rock And Roll". Morello appears on a track called "And So It Went".

Morello joins previously announced guests Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron from SOUNDGARDEN. The song with Cameron and Thayil, called "Only Love Can Save Me Now", was recorded at Seattle's legendary London Bridge Studios, where seminal LPs like PEARL JAM's "Ten" and SOUNDGARDEN's "Louder Than Love" were laid down.

"Death By Rock And Roll", the fourth studio album from THE PRETTY RECKLESS, will arrive in late 2020 or early 2021. It will follow up 2016's "Who You Selling For", which featured the rock radio hits "Oh My God", "Back To The River" and "Take Me Down".

    Two shows in Wisconsin
At least two in Pennsylvania and maybe three if they did two in Philly.
At least one in Ohio...the rumors were Columbus or Cleveland, but not both.
There were rumors about two in Chicago at a place not named Wrigley Field.

Maybe a return trip to NYC since they couldn't get two in MSG?

    Boston? Hartford?

    We know Seattle was out.

Fun to ponder. My gut says Boston probably would have been skipped this time around, but we may never know for sure.

The smart money says "Always play New England. It's easy access from NYC and Europe and they can sell a lot of tickets with zero effort."

Yet, if this was a tour of swing states, maybe save the energy.

Maybe eight shows (along with all of Europe and the spring) would have been enough. Baseball in October, then fire things back up in January/February of 2021 for Australia/New Zealand.

Chicago X2, Milwaukee , Madison and circling back/ starting in Pittsburgh and Cleveland would have been an amazing route trip.  Hoping this happens in 2021.
