Been hearing the coyotes go crazy for a few weeks, but no pictures. During the summer, we have something that eats the mulberries and wild raspberries, then leaves evidence in the yard. Often times, the puppy finds the evidence and decides to roll around in it. Always super awesome!

My first thought was that you have a roaming Weis in your fields.  As I thought more about it, I am guessing that the Weis would be more of a trash can-tipping beast.  Not many berries eaten...more like sides of beef.

Are there actually roaming Weis's? I kind of thought they sat and waited for the food to be brought to them. Utilizing a golf cart to get from one curbside to the other. I love to prank them every other week when it is recycling day and they don't notice the color difference in the disposal bins.

I believe they are a not so distant relative to the Helpless Helton. They both seem to weasel their way to an unexpecting field filled with the hopes of millions. Only to meander around aimlessly for an over abundance of time before being taken out back....

Thanks Rob. I did know that.  I was trying to make a joke because there were only three, which seemed on the smallish side to call a murder  ;)=)

so my dog found this baby galah on my yard. It can't fly yet and must have either fallen from the nest or been kicked out as it may have beak and feet disease. Called rescue who is in isolation and I am also in isolation as I have a lung infection so the baby is in a box until we can sort something out first thing tomorrow.

There is a fox I've seen two days in a row ... think there may be some pups nesting nearby in a old pile of log cut-offs.  Couldn't get my camera out in time but might set up in a blind if the weather turns nice

Hello everyone, we had this sparrowhawk on our front yard this morning. He was trying to capture small birds, I don’t know if he caught any.  :)

    What a beauty!

Sparrowhawks are such a great example of the combination of both the beautiful and brutal aspects of nature.  I used to live in an apartment that had a tall fence separating it from a field and a number of times witnessed a sparrowhawk consuming a rodent while perched on the fence.  I didn't know they went after birds though!  O, the strange, necessary cycles of nature!

Yes, one of the many within a couple miles of the house. Dune, forest area right off Lake Michigan. People are still allowed to go to parks and hit the trails during quarantine and I’ve noticed more people hiking, which is nice, but I prefer the trail to myself and the animals, lol.

I saw the fox and at least one baby pup ... got a picture with my phone but quality isn't worth posting.  I'm certain of the area the den is although I wouldn't be surprised if she moves as foxes tend to do that.  Got a great open spot about 150 yards away so I will try to set up a tripod and get some pics if the weather cooperates.
