    I made shrimp and grits last night.  So damn good, used a Sean Brock recipe and quality ingredients.

    I really need to try them in a broth. 

    I recently had an Asian salad with them in it, and they just were gummy, tasteless (even “dressed”), and overall nasty :angry:

    Got some impossible burger at Wegmans yesterday.  Cooked it up tonight, was curious and since I don't eat fast food and this was the first time I saw it in a market I snagged some.

    I think I may prefer Beyond but it was pretty good.  Was more filling then the beyond burger, though....I only ate one. 

    Think after having both I prefer to make bean burgers from scratch if I'm not eating beef.

    A perfectly acceptable thing to eat with mushrooms, onions, cheese, lettuce, pickle, and tomato.

    Got after it a bit this weekend myself. No pics though. Did buffalo chicken cheesesteaks on Friday, chicken thighs, absolutely banging. Carnitas yesterday, braising all day then crisped up in the broiler. Fried my own tortilla chips. Then since I was fat as shit the last couple days, lentil soup today.

    Chicken thighs are the shit. Not sure if you have a smoker, but they are great smoked then finished on grill w/ BBQ sauce.

    My wife baked some wonton wrappers. Spread some guacamole on the chips then topped with the Ahi....fucking delicious.
