    Paper plate!
Sunday breakfast—steamed up some broccoli and spinach. Added them to the sautéing onions and pepper ham. Used feta cheese and a little three cheese blend. Fucking delicious. Halo clementines are so good too.

I need a redo on chili. Did it a couple weeks ago and tried to make it bland enough the baby could have some and I didn’t have enough time to soak the beans so they were way too firm.  Failed pretty good.

Nice. Crock pots are the greatest cooking devices ever. Mine has something in it at least 3 days a week.

Going to knock out “change your life chicken” this affernoon. Google the recipe. Stupidly easy to make and totally delicious.

Did this today. Highly recommended. You have to almost cook the orzo like it’s risotto

Interesting - looks good! I admit I'm surprised you put hard boiled eggs in there. Would it not work to just crack a raw egg in each one instead? Or is there a leaking concern about doing that or something?

Pacifico is good stuff. What is the name of the most popular Chilean beer?

    You are headed there?

Willie Mae's Scotch House (friend chicken)
    Galatoire's (soft shelled crab)
    Mother's (the Ferdi)
    Cooper's (chicken)
Acme for Oyesters isnt bad but get uptown/off bourbon for some local flavors

I think we have argued this before but give me Felix's over ACME all day.  Both are touristy, but Felix's has a much better and low key vibe to me. Get a spot at a bar, get some beers (many), get the char grilled gator, make friends with the shuckers and you'll have yourself a good time.  They'll just be shucking them and popping them on the bar in front of you.  If you made a good friend, you will be very pleasantly surprised with your bill.

Also, there is a great crawfish spot on Decatuer near Coop's.  I don't know the name, but you'll see them boiling the mud bugs near the window.  Nice and spicy seasoning.  Make a mess of yourself
