A very cool score today- Ernest Tubb Sings Hank Williams. It's in excellent shape, both vinyl and cover, and get this- 10 cents!
Tubb had one of those voices that was always a bit off but ripe with character and you knew he loved to sing. And his band, The Texas Troubadours are so fine on this one-- oh man!
And it's in great shape. Thank you vinyl gods!

I don't think of Jim Morrison as a punk in any way, shape, or form. He was a Psychedelic Poet Rocker.

So the story goes with the above Death album, their record company at the time wouldn't release it unless the band changed their name, apparently it was too controversial at the time, the band refused so the album never got a proper vinyl release until 2009..
