It's great to see this team actually make a pitcher work. There not the Yanks or Sox's but they seem like they have a plan for once.

Yeah, I turned it off and went to bed when it was 2-1. Just had a bad feeling about that game.

i had a bad feeling about last night. happy to see they pulled it out. 3 of 4 from the dodgers...

i'll say it again--get rid of the stupid running into/not running into the catcher/blocking the plate rule. clearly nobody understands it.

agree if you are going to review that play at the plate last night then you can never have a runner out at home that won't be reviewed. such a stupid rule.

man chooch had a monster series. good to see.

back to .500 and looks like they've played a tough schedule so far. Texas, Milwaukee and Atlanta all playing really well and Dodgers one of the favorites in the NL. knowing this team they will get swept in Arizona though. take 2 out of 3 there and come back with a winning record.

First Phillies game this year that I have watched an extended period of. The new Phillies broadcast is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much worse than the previous. This is beat by only Hawk Harrelson for the worst in baseball.

yeah i just noticed that. I knew they were kinda bad, but didn't realize how bad. They have the worst home record at 2-13. You're welcome! :)

Moyer is growing on me and I think is growing into a good commentator. Stairs is just bad. McCarthy remains one the most annoying people on television.

Good road trip at 6-4. starting staff is really good when fully healthy. bullpen still leaves a lot to be desired but hopefully Adams can be at least decent. Bastardo is very frustrating to watch. he has walked the leadoff hitter something like 6 times already this year. that's pretty hard to do by April 27th for a bullpen guy.

Yeah this was my favorite show too (out of 27 shows). Great energy and my best seats ever at a PJ show (like right next to Stone on the side).

4-27-2003 was Millwood's no-hitter. Sitting in the 600 level in right field with some friends and my 14 month old son. He was trying to run up and down the ramps of the vet. He fell asleep on me in the 5th inning and I looked at the scoreboard and said "shit". I couldn't leave at that point. He stayed asleep for the rest of the game. He was almost at another no-no a year or 2 later with Eric Milton on the mound.
    Alright, alright, alright!

I was at the Millwood game too. Had the Sunday plan back then....

Also the Birds resigned Dawkins during the PJ tailgate......I remember it was a picture perfect day. Couldn't have asked for better.

Good times. Fucking 11 years ago though...

yea i remember the weather too. i remember the weather had been real shitty for like a week or two before and it ended up being just perfect and a monday too. awesome tailgate, awesome crowd and awesome show.

that 2003 tour was spectacular. ended up doing 6 shows on that tour with some great tailgates. so many great memories of that summer.

funny i didn't recall that millwood no-hitter was the day before. that's pretty awesome you guys were there. i've been to probably over 200 phillies games in my life and never came close to one.

i caught one when i was like 14. my dad's company had great seats right behind home plate at the time and got one. actually ball hit seat and caught it on the rebound but still counts. off the bat of the infamous George Vukovich.

went to a game last year where guy in front of me got one. that was with tickets about 10 rows behind dugout.

My old man caught a foul ball hit by David Wright at a Binghamton Mets game probably 10 years or so ago. He gave it to my sister. A few years ago we were at the Field House when a few of the Mets came in to watch some college football. My sister ran back to her apartment, grabbed the ball and got it signed by him. Pretty cool.
